Filthy carpet and bed bugs. My private room appeared to be clean, but after the first night I noticed what I thought were mosquito bites. The next day I woke up covered in bed bug bites. I also noticed that after walking in the room barefoot, and in white socks, my feet were black with dirt. The carpet may have been vacuumed, but it was in desperate need of being shampooed. Although it's not in the best part of town, the staff was friendly, but I would not stay there again.

Wat was dit hostel een ramp. We sliepen in de 6 dorm. Er waren kakkerlakken en bedbugs. Voor een andere kamer moesten we extra betalen, ze konden niks doen aan het ongedierte. Ook kregen we geen geld terug. Daarnaast is de buurt ook geen goede buurt, er zijn veel zwervers en junkies op straat waardoor je je onveilig voelt. Wil je een vakantie gevoel? Dat ga je bij dit hostel in ieder geval niet vinden. Het heeft onze eerste indruk op Amerika zeker niet beter gemaakt.

Absolutely filthy!! Filthy area which I understand isn’t their fault however the filth inside certainly was. I never saw trace of bed bugs or anything however I did a thorough wash of my items and myself before headed home because i’m sure they’re an issue here too. My bathroom was nasty and did not look clean at all and there were drain flies everywhere (dead and alive) and there were enough of them that I could tell this wasn’t a one off experience that they have been there for a while yet nothing is done to clean it up. The room is tired and desperately needs a makeover. The bedding didn’t look cleaned and honestly probably wasn’t. Hardly any outlets in the room either. All in all will never return

I am not sure how this place has any reviews above 1 star. This place is filthy, and that's putting it nicely. Buyer beware - this place has cockroaches and mold. The beds are not actually beds, they're cots that you'd find in an actual jail cell (I'm not kidding, they're the blue cot mats) with a sheet over them. There are bedbugs here. The rooms smell disgusting. The paint in the rooms is peeling off the wall and it looks nasty. There are stains on the floors and walls all over the place. People here are LOUD and the staff doesn't seem to care. Seriously, save your money and go somewhere else.

⚠️I stayed there for one night only because the room was infested with cockroaches, bedbugs, the heating was on so I was really hot and inconfortable to stay in the room. The rooms are not cleaned and are Dirty. There were à few homeless people staying in front of the Hostel at night. I wouldn't recommend this place it being unsanitary and feels dangerous. I stayed at the other hostel in West Hollywood which was really better. Cleaner and safer (still watch out at night)

Bed bugs, roaches, AND rats! The whole shebang! This place is a great place to stay for just one night due to location alone (can’t get more central than ON Hollywood blvd), but you can say goodbye to all luxuries like.. sleeping a whole night without getting nibbled. Room 207, the “girl’s dorm”, houses a great number of crawly guests, which adds more reason to why females should steer clear of this place for more than a short stay. Very male-dominated environment. But hey, free food sometimes.

Fairly decent for the price, rooms are cleaned daily, no bedbugs, not a rude staff, they're all pretty friendly.
