The property itself was great, location aswell, but there are BEDBUGS. It’s a cheap place to stay, vibes where there, but it’s so not worth it. Don’t come here unless you love yourself 70 bites all over your legs and back

Péssima experiência, tivemos que sair do quarto de madrugada porque havia percevejo/ bedbugs no local. Não ressarciram o valor pago, desse dia nem do segundo. Foi muito transtorno e prejuízo, além de não dormir, estava de madrugada, somente achei outro local 6h/7h, tive que pagar duas diárias pra entrar imediatamente em outro hostel. Não recomendo.

Il primo giorno ho dormito nella camera mista 206, letto 2. Il materasso non mi è sembrato pulito. Dopo la prima notte mi sono svegliato con diverse punture sulla mano e sul corpo, compatibili con cimici del letto/bed bugs. Sono andato subito alla reception per segnalare il problema, ma non sono state prese misure adeguate: non mi è stata cambiata subito la camera e non è stato sostituito o disinfestato il materasso. Sono state cambiate soltanto le lenzuola. La seconda notte, anche con le lenzuola nuove, ho avuto di nuovo punture. Mi sono spaventato molto e sono andato al pronto soccorso, dove mi hanno indicato un sospetto morso di bed bugs e mi hanno prescritto medicinali, crema e terapia. Ho dovuto pagare anche le spese mediche, almeno 15€ per la crema, e non ho potuto comprare tutti i medicinali perché non avevo abbastanza soldi. Quando sono tornato in hotel ho spiegato di nuovo la situazione. Mi è stato detto di parlare con il manager e mi hanno proposto ancora di cambiare le lenzuola, ma io non mi sentivo più sicuro a dormire in quel letto. Secondo me era necessario disinfestare la zona, cambiare il materasso e prendere misure serie subito. La camera mi è stata cambiata solo più tardi. Non sono soddisfatto del soggiorno. Non mi sono sentito tutelato come cliente e ritengo che la struttura non abbia gestito correttamente un problema serio di igiene e sicurezza. Chiedo il rimborso del soggiorno e il rimborso delle spese mediche documentate, perché devo ancora fare controlli e sostenere altri costi.

Primero algo que me parece pésimo es que el servicio de guarda equipajes te lo cobren 5 euros por valija. Siendo que ya estamos pagando la estadía. Después te dicen que dan desayuno, es un “café” helado (una taza diminuta) con un croissant. No podes repetir ni elegir. Un desastre. Lo peor salimos todos brotados por las chinches y pulgas que tenía el lugar. Tampoco destacamos la atención del personal, fueron bastantes descortés.

Bed bugs!! And super weird vibe. Im ok with staying somewhere odd for cheap, but this was bad. They make you leave your keys at reception any time you leave which makes me feel unsafe that I dont have the access to my own room on my person. Fees for EVERYTHING. Not the normal stuff like towels and breakfast, I mean everything. I didn't even have to pay any of the fees, but it made me feel like I was being watched 24/7. Location, staff, and atmosphere are fine.

Our beds had bed bugs, the toilet and sink were broken. The front desk was able to move our room for free which we appreciated but we still are now at risk of being infected with bed bugs.

Wenn man seine Tasche vorher abgeben möchte muss man 5€ zahlen. Das Bad sieht etwas heruntergekommen aus und man kann es nicht abschließen! In meinem Bett waren Bettwanzen:( Frühstück etwas wenig.

Sockets, there was 7-8 of them in a room, for me they didn’t work, but maybe my adapter just didn’t fit well, because others chargers were working, just it was not comfortable for me. Moskitos, in the end of November, i couldn’t sleep because they were flying loud and biting my face. Wifi, it was good during the day but in the evening and at night it didn’t work because of the high load of people using it. Bed bugs, i didn’t notice it so fast, but after a night here i got a few red dots on my face, it was so sad to have during vacation. Breakfast, i was so disappointed that you need to pay extra for „early breakfast“ i checked out at 8am but breakfast started at 9, so pay extra 3€ for early breakfast. I was quite disappointed that that beautiful garden, that were on the photos of this hostel is closed and hostel guests don’t have an opportunity to go there.

BED BUGS!!!!! I left with bites all over the body, and even saw an insect, showed it to the receptionist and him told me he would give me the spray for me to disinfect my bed.. wtf…. The interior design with all those posters.. and the light omg..

It was a good valued hostel. A good place to sleep, didn’t get any bed bug bites like other reviews said, just got mosquito bites cause we left the window opened. however there were a few hidden costs; payed a couple euros for luggage to be held, couldn’t use the bathroom before we checked in, etc

1. 2 hr wasted on trying to check-in online - failed. Dumb & messy & broken website but pretended to be professional. Eventually I have to check-in directly with them. 2. doubled charge me the tax 7e. They refunded me at the hostel anyway, but no apology on my times wasted & concern. 3. bedbug full of my blood found on the blanket near my face when I wake up (I have picture evidence). I requested a refund and they haven't replied me ever since. Worst hostel.

À FUIR !!! Au début pas de couette ni couverture chaude, je n’ai pas fait de scandale. Ils m’ont donné une chambre alors qu’ils savaient qu’elle contenait des punaises de lit parce qu’il y avait une poudre désinfectante. La nuit je me lève boire de l’eau et je vois des punaises de lit sur mon oreiller. Le personnel m’a proposé de me changer la chambre en chambre mixte alors que j’ai payé pour une chambre en privée, ne m’ont pas laissé contacter le manager, et m’ont demandé de leur envoyer un mail en m’indiquant que je n’ai payé que 87€ pour la nuit c’est pas comme si j’ai pris un hôtel premium. Ils ne m’ont donné une autre chambre privée que lorsque j’ai dit que je vais appeler l’office de tourisme. Je n’ai pas du tout pu me rendormir. N’ont exprimé aucun remord et ne se sont pas du tout excusé et disent avoir résolu le problème.

Completamente con picaduras con insectos de cama. No me han dicho nada ni prestado atención con lo que me ha ocurrido. Mostrándole en recepción como tenía el cuerpo.

He despertado completamente con picaduras en la cara brazos y espalda de chiches de cama en la habitación 201 cama 4. Y no me han dicho nada ni lo sentimos. Ni ninguna solución . Revisen bien las cabeceras y almuadones.

I WAS BITTEN BY BEDBUGS ALL OVER MY FACE. 16 bites to be exact.

Not the best. Pretty good location, but the AC was broken in the bedroom so we had the windows open and woke up covered in bug bites. Mattresses were not very comfortable and bed frames were squeaky. And the bed layout gave little privacy. The bathroom was good, but there are no other bathrooms available other than the one in the bedroom which is not ideal. Good kitchen and lots of places to sit and eat in social areas, but it had dim lighting which made it a bit unsettling.

Down to earth hostel. I was in 3-bed dorm, en-suite bathroom. Bed and good-sized locker with key, that is very convenient. The room, shower and bed all clean, no issues, no bedbugs. All basic, but quiet, beds not making any noises. I chose the option that included towel (it was small, but enough), soap bar and breakfast ( coffee & croissant) - got it all. For budget stay it's perfect option. Walking distance to centre, Metro station M3 5 mins walk - I used it to get to FlexBus bus stop to Genoa.

Alors, on a dû changer deux fois de chambre car on a trouvé des punaises de lit … faites attention… la première fois le jeune homme de l’accueil a été très compréhensif, a fait remonter l’information et s’est excusé. Pour la deuxième fois, la femme ne nous croyait pas et nous a seulement changé de chambre sans signaler le problème. Tout est payant, n’oubliez rien. Les lits superposés grincent énormément Après la localisation est bonne.

Horrible hostel. Felt very unclean and I couldn’t sleep as mosquitos and bugs kept buzzing in my ear. I woke up with no exaggeration 15 bug bites all over my arms, shoulders, back, and hands. I am covered in hives and welts. This hostel is disgusting. Save your money and do not go.

I think there is bed bug in there. I found one and it bit all my body. Still suffering till now. Staffs are ok but not with friendly faces.

The location was what made the score higher. There was an odd vibe here. Good spot for studying, but not being social. Staff was pretty nice, just not too helpful. The score would’ve been higher if I did not get bedbug bites all over me after the first night. I recommend bringing your own sheets & towel

I have booked a bed in 3-person room at New Generation Hostel for a night form 10th to 11th of April. Upon my arrival during the night, I was checked in and charged additional 10 euros for the late check in and 2,5 euros city tax. However when I went into the room I have found bugs in the bed. The girl that was also staying in the room informed me that the reception was informed about this issue. I find it most upsetting that the receptionist couldn’t have at least informed me about it prior to checking in. So that I at least wouldn’t pay you another 12 euros. Since the bugs were everywhere it was impossible to sleep in such a bed, the receptionist told me they there aren’t any other beds or rooms available. So I was forced to find different accommodations in the city during the night. And pay 75 euros for another hotel. The hostel is terrible in terms of communication, they were not replying to me before my stay, when I couldn't get the link for an on-line check in, that they require. And they haven't responded to me after this whole dissaster.

Al entrar a mi habitación encontré muchos chinches en mi cama. Enseñé la situación en la recepción y pedí cambiarme la habitación. Me dijeron que no tenian nada disponible y yo tenía que ir a buscarme otro sitio para dormir. Me prometieron devolver el dinero al enviarles un email y no me contestaron ni me devolvieron nada. No recomendaria este sitio nunca a nadie, solo para buscar problemas.

Super viele Bettwanzen. “Frühstück” ist ein Croissant und ein Kaffee, welches man in die Hand gedrückt bekommt. Klo Brille ist sehr lose gewesen, Dusche eklig. Die Mitarbeiter haben mir ein komisches Gefühl gegeben.

Mijn bed zat vol bedwantsen, ik ben meerdere malen gebeten. De slaapzaal had in mijn bed plekken op de matras van bedwants Ik kreeg te horen; we hebben nu geen andere mogelijkheid, we kijken morgen naar het matras. Ik heb op handdoeken op de grond geslapen, zonder dekens. Inmiddels mijn rugzak en slaap spullen moeten weggooien.

Not a very nice hostel. Not much to do. Staff are not overly friendly and there are bed bugs.

Kurzfazit: Kann man machen, ist halt Scheiße. Viel zu teuer, sehr dubiose Gäste, dreckig, wahrscheinlich mit Bettwanzen, schlecht ausgestattete Zimmer und viel zu unbequeme kleine heruntergelegene Betten, schlechte Gegend, nur einige der Mitarbeiter waren ganz okay. Man musste aber sogar die Schlüssel bei jedem Verlassen des Hostels abgeben und es wurde für alles vom Check-In bis zu Handtüchern, Föhn oder Gepäckaufbewahrung extra abkassiert. Ich würde es auf gar keinen Fall weiterempfehlen.
