Savage Hostel Koh Tao

- Vorsicht, in meinem Zimmer waren Bettwanzen (Zimmer I, Bett 2), an sich ist die Hygiene gut und die Duschen und Bäder waren auch sauber aber das ist natürlich ein großer Minuspunkt - leider keine Umkleiden, nach dem Duschen musste man sich dann halt immer auf den Toiletten umziehen - leider nicht das sozialste Hostel, kaum Austausch mit den anderen Leuten - Im Zimmer relativ wenig Platz für den Rucksack (muss in separatem Zimmer im Spint aufbewahrt werden)

The showers are a bit finicky for water temp control. Breakfast is decent considering it's free but it's very flavourless so not anything to be excited about. Otherwise it's a decent hostel I like the privacy screens and the small bedside safe. Note you have to store your luggage in lockers outside of your room which I think is a little bit of a nuisance but actually better for preventing bed bugs. The receptionist was pretty friendly but the rest of the staff are very lukewarm. Mattress is decent for hostel. Rooftop pool is quite nice with shaded areas and beanbags to lounge in. It's across the lane from blue water cafe so you get the live music beaming in during the sunset hours. However you will also hear the hostel background music at the same time, not ideal. With all that said, I will would stay here again and recommend it to a friend as well.
