We were crazy duped by the previous reviews - the common space is pretty, but the rooms are awful and bathrooms worse. No private lockers either despite saying there are. One shared fan in the bedroom. Volunteer staff were nice/friendly but that was about it.

Kakerlaken überall! Im Bad, in der Küche, im Flur! Der Inhaber oder Manager war nicht zu sprechen. Die Mitarbeiterin war aber sehr zuvorkommend und nett.
The atmosphere is weird, the son of the owner parties all the time with his weird friends who are constantly bothering guests. rooms are dirty and not ventilated, staff from cafe is nice and vollunteers as well but the rest are super weird. also one night one of his drunk friends got kicked out of the house and came into the dorm room at 4.30 am while me and another guest were sleeping. he started calling his wife, snort the whole night like crazy, farted and threw up in our shared bathroom.
Wij vonden het geen fijne plek. Het is smerig, krakkemikkig en ongezellig. We vonden een bedwants in bed en het personeel gooide het dode insect op de grond alsof het niets voorstelden. We kregen een nieuwe kamer maar hier was de badkamer constant vol modder op de vloer en haren in de douche. Ook is het veertig minuten lopen naar het centrum van Santa Ana. Het hostel heeft potentie als ze het opknappen en het schoon houden. Wel een lekkere pupusaria op de hoek!
the place is filthy. they charged my $5 usd deposit for a room key and then wouldn't give it back. stay literally anywhere else if you can
Do not stay here. The place is disgusting, not clean at all and things are broken.
Do not stay here!! So dirty and disgusting can literally hear everything outside you will not be able to sleep at all. The worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in the doors don’t lock either on the doors so felt very unsafe
Nice welcome when arriving. Wasn’t able to get into our rooms as occupied, got in hours later. Pool absolutely filthy, black mold growing and clearly wasn’t being cleaned. Room hot and fan ineffective making it a sweaty experience to sleep. Unused Fountain by the bar was full of mosquito lava. Beds comfortable and sheets clean. Rooms ok and shared bathroom experienced blocked toilet each morning. Woken up at 6am from volunteer staff and friends returning from all night drinking session, they...

- Wlan hat nicht funktioniert. Keine Vorhänge an den Dormbetten. Ich habe meinen Key Deposit nicht zurückbekommen
+ The property is beautiful, the bar/restaurant is good quality, nice gardens and areas to relax, decent kitchen, wifi is ok, free drinking water, staff was nice, close to supermarket, bus station to san salvador on a walking distance.
- The room was terribly hot, the bunk bed was loose and wobbling, fan on the ceiling only works with lights on, 4 bunk beds but only the two bottom beds had a tiny fan each, the bathroom was a mess and shared between two dorms, drunk people getting in-out of the dorm all night long, people being loud in the bar until dawn...
A wonderful and welcoming hotel with a large garden for relaxing and a well-equipped kitchen. The only downside was that the beds in the 6-bed dorm were a bit saggy; otherwise, it's a very, very good hostel. :) The volunteers are also very nice, especially Adrianna – a great person.

excelente lugar buena vibra lugar para relajarse y disfrutar
J'étais venu il y a 3 ans et c'était aussi bien. le seul point négatif est la ventilation dans les chambres. Il n'y a qu'un seul ventilateur et il ne fournit pas... j'ai dû aller dormir dans le salon car c'était insupportable. sinon c'était parfait.

+ Great staff. Hot shower with great pressure. Cold, free drinking water. Nice pool, bar, kitchen and common areas.
- The mattress. Its good days are a thing of the past, but still comfortable enough.
Great place!!! It’s well located and the atmosphere is amazing. Stuff is friendly and they are really helpful. Contact with them if you want to visit other places around Santa Ana or Honduras/Guatemala

- I didn't like the hammocky matrasses I was the only tourist during the day, so i confiscated the only deck chair The joined bathroom.. When someone from the other dorm forgot to unlock our door after use, we could not get in Only one shower for 10 beds The heavy uncomfortable cast iron chairs and tables The ratio of 8:3 volunteers to tourists, whereby most volunteers seemed to move in their own bubble The overall lack of tlc for the property
Location is quite far from everything. My dorm was considerably warm and my bed had a very old mattress. It was weird that 2 dorms had to share one bathroom. The staff is basically foreign volunteers. The kitchen has everything you need. Very cheap hostel, so the value is considerably good.
We had a great time at Old Bells Hostels and especially liked the pool and garden. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was not too far from the center and in a good spot to catch the bus towards the ruta de las floras.
Schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Innenhof und Pool! Wir hatten eine super Zeit. Nettes Personal :)

Hostal muy bueno, con un grande y magnífico jardin - un poco lejos pero vale la pena !

Wifi gut, Lage etwas weit entfernt von allen, es sollte mal alles erneuert werden hier besonders der Garten
