👉 Clean and well organized, and at first it seems welcoming. However, the Wi-Fi is almost unusable and there is constant silence in common areas, with little social interaction and no group activities despite many guests. After check-out, you cannot use the kitchen or showers and can only wait in reception. This feels unwelcoming compared to other hostels: you clearly feel that once your stay is over, you are no longer welcome.
DO NOT STAY HERE! The owner (Derby) is a creep… and gets aggressive when you call him out for it and tries to get into your face. appalling behaviour from an owner of a hostel. Also charged us 25 bolivian to sit on a sofa. Very rude, creepy and aggressive. would not recommend any female backpackers to stay there
Be aware there are bed bugs!!! If you can avoid this place, do it!
Arbitrary rules (was told I wasn’t allowed to drink after 10:30 when quiet hours started, despite doing so silently by myself watching a movie). The breakfast chef wanted me to wait for her to cook more eggs because her children were running around the kitchen screaming and she wanted to tend to them instead (had to listen to children yelling at 9am). And the bathrooms/showers are shared gender which can be uncomfortable, and they always smelled like poo because there is no ventilation. Avoid.
They make you pay for absolutely everything despite it being an expensive accommodation, for keeping your backpack the days you're in the salary, and then when you come back they don't let you shower (without paying claro) which I've never had happen to in any hostel.
BEWARE OF THE BEDBUGS!!! I had bedbugs in my bed & the staff couldn’t handle the situation more poorly. They took no responsibility for it + blamed it on me (of course…). I left the place after one night. The manager/owner was super rude & refused to negotiate the price after I told them about the bugs. I had to pay the total amount (although I spent my only night there on the couch in the common area/kitchen, using with my personal towel as a blanket .. lol). Worst hostel experience ever.
Room is really smelly and not clean. Also I was so uncomfortable because I came back to my dorm at 8 but room was already dark. So I brought all of my luggages to outside and managed my belongings. And they locked hotel door at 10, so I had to ring the bell to go in. But the staff was so rude, he opened the door with very angry face. And the most annoying thing was that I was booking my flight ticket in cafeteria, because I couldn’t do anything in my room, the staff came to me with very angry...
Ovepriced by double. Overcharged because I checked in early. Way out of town, nearly the desert. Owner unfriendly to the point of hostile, seemed only interested in how much cash she could glean from guests. Breakfast was served at hours when most people had already left on tours and was always cold & inedible. 'Bunk beds' were single beds stacked, for maximim occupacy/profit regardless of guests safety. No information on tours. Find our for yourself. Do yourself a favour - stay somewhere...
Strange feel due to the owners strict rules so gives an uncomfortable feel which is a shame as the facilities are good. Feels as if even the staff are on edge and a bit like living in a prison. Also located a bit far from the centre. I personally wouldn't stay again as being felt welcome should be the minimum expected from a hostel, not as though you are an inconvenience.

Very good
super nice and modern. Excellent breakfast. They slso provide a service where you can get cash at the official rate without paying extra fees. Best hostel so far after 2 months in latin america :)
Nice clean hostel with breakfast
Personal muy amable
Very friendly and personal
We had a fantastic stay, the buffet breakfast was amazing, the room was spacious and clean and the staff work very hard to make you feel welcome and to keep all the common areas and bathroom facilities clean. It’s only a short walk from the bus station and into the town centre. Would definitely recommend!
I stayed in the private room, and it was perfect. Nice room and hot water in the private bathroom. The staff was very nice and the location was nice (a few blocks to Main Street).

Great hostel with everything you need. After a nightmare bus journey from S. Pedro, I couldn’t have asked for a better shower. The pressure was great with lots of hot water. I like that the shower cubicles have separate spaces attached for privacy when changing. Everything was very clean. Beds are big and comfy but my pillow was a bit flat. The free breakfast was very good - substantial with nice variety. I wish it could be slightly closer to the bus terminal.
Absolutely fantastic choice for budget backpackers in Uyuni. Comfy, secure, social but not too loud — and really yummy breakfast! Staff were great too!
Has everything you need and good outside space. They charge you to use the facilities after check out
The free breakfast was fabulous and huge! I was scared the staff was going to be mean from other reviews but they were really nice!
Very good
Très bonne auberge légèrement excentrée pour passer l’une ou l’autre nuit aux abords du Salar d’Uyuni.
Very good hostel slightly eccentric to spend a night or two on the outskirts of the Salar d'Uyuni.
A good hostel to stay at, had everything you would need and a lovely breakfast
Clean, comfortable and spacious. The toilets and showers are comfortable.
Good property and good location, one of the best breakfastes I’ve had in a hostel. Question the coffee/tea making facilities it says they have: man in the reception was rude when explaining that it’s only available during breakfast.
Perfect spot for a sleep before salt flats. Not much at all in the town so would use it as a one night stop spot, but this hostel is perfect for that, with breakfast included it’s a no brainer.
This hostel is correct. Nothing else. But the staff is not there to make your stay pleasurable. Before check in and after check out you’re nobody and you basically have to pay to breathe inside of the building. And they watch you. Literally. After my check out time I opened shower for 10sec and they watched what I’m doing there. They asked me to pay. Leave your bag? Pay. Take a shower one hour before check in? Pay. Early check in when the rooms are empty? Absolutely not, they wait till last ...
Walk to and from the station was easy enough, good for a stopover. Breakfast was great, and nice seating on the second floor. The wifi spotty in multiple areas. I recommend finishing a tour then taking advantage of paying 25 to shower and pack before a night bus. The staff seemed genuinely unimpressed there were tourists?? and rude. It was very hygienic! However I walked in (no code etc) and they let me take a backpack. Just set your expectations appropriately and it does the job!
Just what we needed after an overnight bus in Uyuni. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was great. Rooms were spacious and had big lockers.
