Un super accueil de Stefano et Pedro merci les gars ! 🤘☀️ situé a 10minutes a pied du centre de Madalena c'etait parfait surtout en periode de fetes on apprecie le calme 😄 Tres belle idee de partager l'amour des rencontres de voyage un bel exemple merci !

Très bon accueil de la part de toute l’équipe dans cette auberge. Les espaces communs sont propres et très agréables. Le petit dej est au top ! Pancake ❤️ Seul bémol, le prix : 20€ /nuit pour poser ma tente dans le jardin, je trouve cela un peu cher. Mais cela m’a bien dépanné et les hôtes m’ont prêté un vrai matelas J’ai pu passer une bonne nuit avant l’ascension du mont Pico !

A home away from home! Pedro and Stefan are going above and beyond to create a family vibe and definitely live up to the loving strangers theme. Sympa pour quelques nuits mais le prix des chambres est vraiment élevé pour cette île. On peut aussi participer à un dîner convivial avec d'autres voyageurs pour 20 euros par personne. C est une très bonne idée.

Fantastisk välkomnande mysigt hostel. Stefan som värd är extraordinär. Välkomnar alla med ett stort hjärta för att sprida gemenskap bland besökarna. Frukost ingår och det finns coworking rum, relaxrum, trädgård med litet gym och hängmattor allt rent och snyggt. Gemensamma middagar ordnas av värdparet. Detta är ett ställe där man lär känna varandra. Många reste på utflykter tillsammans. Rekommenderar det varmt, Kvinnlig 50+ ensamresenär.

I had a great experience at Loving strangers hostel. The owners are friendly and available for every request. The dormitory is good with comfortable beds and lockers. The breakfast made by Stephan is delicious and diverse. If you are looking for a place to stay close to Pico Madalena port and you are interested in making friends with other travelers , this is the right place.

Great. Very friendly and welcoming staff...I felt a bit uneasy with the locker set up which didn't feel secure.. and the sidi doesn't actually work on the dorms which is OK just good to know beforehand. Great breakfasts!

We had an amazing time staying at loving strangers! Stefan and Lina gave us a really warm welcome which lasted throughout our stay. We had the opportunity to take part at the "family dinner" which exceeded our expectations! We would highly recommend staying at loving strangers. with lots of love, Milena & Dominique

What a place! I loved staying at Loving Strangers Hostel! Make sure to stay here if you're visiting Pico Island :D Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure a pleasant stay and a harmonious community life. Breakfast is a real treat for the senses and a great way to learn about the other guests. Thank you all these wonderfull moments and memories. Hopefully I'll be back soon <3

The loving strangers hostel is one of those magical places that is always worth a visit, the longer the better.

Dreams come true in this hostel... The great people working there don't see you just as a guest, they see you more as a good friend with whom they are happy to have breakfast together or enjoy fantastic family dinners together. This hostel is truly exceptional if you plan to not only see the beauty of Pico but also are open to meet people along your journey who are happy to share their story. So once again thanks to the great team or should I say family running this wonderful hostel!

Loving Strangers is not an accommodation like the others—it’s an experience. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel welcomed like your already part of a big family, with whom you’ll surely share unforgettable moments. If you’re lucky, you might get to enjoy a delicious meal prepared by your hosts with the other guests, or end the evening gathered around the fire. I absolutely loved my experience, and my only regret is not having stayed longer.

I had a wonderful time at Loving Strangers! The best part has been the breakfasts and dinners together, the lovely cats and all the common spaces that allow you a relaxing stay 🤍

A fantastic, clean hostel in a great location that you practically don't want to leave. ;) And when the weather doesn't let you out of Pico, the hosts are in constant contact and understanding. They're a lovely couple who care for their guests almost like family. ;) Breakfast is delicious, served by Sofia. The hosts organized a delicious dinner for us for a small fee, which was great and full of laughs. Stefan is incredibly funny; he actually put on a show for us. ;) If you need space and quiet ...

Loved my stay at Loving Strangers. They really do everything to make you feel welcome like make delicious breakfast and organize amazing dinners which allow you to get to know the other great guests. The hostel was super confortable, well equipped and calm. I highly recommend you staying here during your trip to Pico.

Wundervolles Hostel, nicht nur ein Hostel sondern wirklich eine Hostelfamilie ♥️ Stephano, Pedro & Sophie sind wirklich die besten Gastgeber. Viele gemeinsame Aktionen möglich, wie unglaublich leckere Familydinners, aber auch ein super workspace vorhanden. Frühstück ist perfekt. Mittlerweile sogar ein kleines Gym mit dabei

A very special place. Stéfan, Pedro and Sophie have put their heart and soul into building a warm and friendly community of like- minded travellers. I've never stayed anywhere like it. We were all friends from the moment I walked in the gate! The two dormitories are well-thought through, using everything Stéfan has learnt from his own hostelling experiences. Ho soggiornato già due volte in questo ostello e mi sono sempre trovata benissimo! I letti sono comodi e la camerata condivisa è confortevole, il giardino è davvero meraviglioso e la serra è magica (l'abbiamo usata per fare lezioni di yoga e meditazioni). Colazione ottima e personale sempre disponibile e attento agli ospiti. Un grande ringraziamento a Stefan, Sophie e Pedro :) Ps. Ottima anche la cena, se vi capita vi consiglio di partecipare alla Family dinner!
