We ended up paying in US dollars to not get scammed.

Volledige reviewThe guy at the reception tried to use an outrageous rate from us dollars to bolivianos. We asked him to show us even one other site that gave that rate, obviously he didn’t. We ended up paying in US dollars to not get scammed.

They refused to even look at the amount that my hostelworld reservation said on my phone.

Volledige reviewAs others have also shared, the couple who own this hostel attempted to overcharge me significantly upon arrival. They refused to even look at the amount that my hostelworld reservation said on my phone. As someone who doesn't accept being shamelessly scammed in front of my face, I had no choice but to cancel and quickly find somewhere else.
