   Still waiting for a refund. After 4 weeks of emailing, going to the physical place. Will not stop contacting or leaving reviews until I get the refund. DO NOT STAY HERE. Paid for an ensuite and there was none, no toilet just a sink and a shower that did not work. Staff failed to mention when I checked in that the showers had no water and that there was 5 flights of stairs and no lift. I also asked for a bottom bunk as I had an injury and they gave me the top third level and the 2 under me were empty…. Dodgy area in London and no one mentioned about the gates in the park closing at a certain time so it’s very hard to get to at night. Terrible service and shortened my stay. Would not recommend. Demographic was also a lot older and not so much a “youth” hostel as described.

   This is a scam, not even close to 4 star. The good reviews are all fake and paid 100%. From the many hostels I stayed in London this was the worst for many reasons. It started bad even before arriving; the access is terrible, hard to find with poor signs indicating the entrance after a huge walk around the park. When I enter the room i immediately sense a bad smell I never felt anywhere. The worst and even more unique is plain stupid ; my bed was the top of a three bunk bed and had NO ACCESS to it : they put the stairs next to the wall instead of in the right place leaving no space to climb! You have to squeeze through with the little space available if you are agile enough to make it and they said no one else mentioned this. I don't know how it's not even in the reviews mentioned but the stairs are in the wrong side and not movable; some braindead designed it. These 3 flaws i have never seen anywhere else and make it by far the worst hostel by far literally ; I don't know how there are good reviews (must be paid) and it's still operating somehow.

   It was cheap. I booked a bed in a 21 bed dormitory; I wanted a cheap place to lay my head and that's exactly what I got. Beds were comfortable, linens were provided, lockers were decently sized. If you're looking for a cheap place to lay your head, that's what you get. It was a room in a 21 bed dormitory. Don't expect privacy, don't expect much in the way of personal space. Though I didn't have any issues with security, I was also judicious about keeping things locked up. Be prepared to use your phone's flashlight to navigate the dorm at night as everyone naturally goes to bed at different times. The showers have minimal flow and no water pressure to speak of. While linens are provided (unusual for a hostel but delightful when it happens) towels are not, so remember to bring your own. Staff was very brusque; you're not paying for 5 star service so don't expect it.

   Location I'd like to warn everyone about this hostel in nice location but inside its extremely dirty and very unsafe. I had shocking experience when at 1am a heavily intoxicated man came to dormitory and started smashing things, thrown the metal heavy cuboards on floor and on my luggage (luckily no damage to my electronics inside!) but it can happen to you so i dont recommend to keep anything outside our bed. man was very violent and agressive. It was very frghtened experience. ..after someone called receptionist, they forced this violent man to his bed, not listening to us what he did. ..it was just after man was violent to them they finally decided to kick him out. Its not the first time i seen heavily intoxicated men in this hostel , altrough they got cameras everywhere they let these men in, disregards your safety. The hostel is REGULARY CANCELLING YOUR BOOKINGS without informing you, so you may waste your journey and they wont give a full refund. They do this to many people, read reviews on Google. Toilet on my floor which was for dozens of people was cleaned once a day only and it had mould everywhere and bad smell. I was shocked i never seen anything like that in other hostels ever. I am surprised local council of Kensington isnt doing anything with this place, which really does not match the surrounding quiet, safe areas. Receptionists have a dull aggressive faces and manager Tiego is acting as under some intoxication or something, there are many complains about this management.

   Don’t trust positive reviews. I was approached on telegram out of the blue and asked to write a review despite having never stayed here.

   I’ve been travelling in Europe for 2 months and this was my worst hostel. It is well located but the washrooms are really disgusting and not clean. One day we didn’t have water in one part of the hostel, so all the toilets were completed clogged in all the floors for 2 days until the staff decided to clean them. Reading the other reviews, it seems this happened before. The staff didn’t care too much about this situation. I don’t recommend this hostel to stay.
