   Great location and super nice staff! The bathroom and the facilities could definitely be nice for the price. Also, not saying all the good reviews are because of this but saw the bartender ask for a rating for a free beer.

   We originally booked this hostel but cancelled after the first night. The sheets and duvet were visibly covered in dirt on two of our beds. The bathroom has visible black mould on the tiles and small miniscule bugs crawling on the toilet and sink. While atmosphere and staff seem great hence the good reviews it was not our level of hygiene. We didn’t get a full refund after a staff member reviewed our claims and reported back it “was not that bad”. Most hostels would argue they are up to standard. Fine if you want to party and crash.

   Not all it’s cracked up to be. Got the best rating I’ve seen on hostel world, which is because they give free beer for good reviews. Got a nice rooftop bar but there’s no lights and it’s essentially an oven. They didn’t empty our bathroom bin for 3 days so it stank of sweaty shit. Staff are very friendly but there’s no reps so it’s hard to get an atmosphere. Value for money is very good tbf as you get a free beer and breakfast every day. Facilities are good it’s got a ps5 and the rooftop bar. Location is decent it’s very close to all the bars and walking distance to the war museum. Also we got gas the worst fried rice ever in Hoi an so would avoid it if you can.

   We stayed here for 2 nights and I got a total of 2 hours sleep altogether. The hostel is so noisy as they do a pub crawl every night at 11:30pm so people come in and out of the room until 5/6am. The bathroom was the worst shower I’ve had since being travelling, the water was always cold and it’s a bath/shower so is just not nice. The free breakfast is cold, and not very nice, the only good thing was the watermelon and the orange juice! Other than this, I thought the staff here were amazing, they were extremely helpful and always happy. One of the best customer services I’ve received since being away! However, they do cancel your bookings on Hostelworld so that you’re unable to leave bad reviews which should of been a red flag 🚩 Rooftop was nice and the free beer every night is a plus!

   BEDBUGS! We actually quite enjoyed our stay at the hostel, comfy beds, friendly staff, nice social areas, free drinks each evening, buffet breakfast and fun pub crawl however our room had bedbugs and our booking was cancelled a couple hours before check out when our stay was paid for and essentially over, we presume to stop us leaving review on hostel world. Originally staff were helpful immediately moved me to a new bunk (in the same room) and washed all my stuff that had touched the bed for free. They said they would shut down that bunk but a few hours later it was dressed again for next guest (though no one stayed there for at least another 24hrs). They also mentioned that they had just treated that room for bedbugs and that the person in the bunk before me had come from a hostel with them. Unfortunately despite being helpful to us it gave the impression that they have a bedbug issue that isn’t being dealt with properly and being hidden from guests by not letting us leave Hostelworld review.

    I stayed here for seven days, it was a very strange experience for my first time backpacking trip, the service staff here are very patient, every morning breakfast is provided with a rich breakfast, I also know a very cute service person, her name is April, her face is always full of passion and smile, it makes people feel happy, people from the east who want to experience western cultural exchange can come here and experience and see👍👍👍
