Safestay Barcelona Gothic

Location was great in the middle of the gothic quarter, the staff were quite rude and not helpful / welcoming no information offered and matched the general atmosphere at the hostel. Rooms were okay but no curtains for the beds. Not enough lockers in the room (4 lockers for 8 beds) and pretty sure I’ve got bed bug bites. Probably better hostels in Barca

I stayed in Barcelone for 2 days the hostel is well located in a good area. Security could be better as a guest was able to sneak in a stranger in the dorm late night. Good thing that the staff took action by kicking him out. The bathrooms were clean my bed however had bedbugs. I was itchy in bed but I was able to put extra blankets on the bed and was able to sleep after that. Overall the price was decent but the vibe was a little dull. So I don’t think I’d stay there again when in town

The hostel seemed dirty and had bed bugs, I left covered of bites in my body. The staff wasn't very welcoming, they seemed apathetic.

Había chinches en las camas, he llegado con picaduras por todas partes.

Mi reserva en Safestay Barcelona Passeig de Gràcia fue cancelada con 72h de antelación por chinches y no me ofrecen solución. Somos 8 personas sin alojamiento. He pedido reubicación o compensación y no me dan solución. Necesito una solución urgente.

Bed bugs were terrible

There were bed bugs in my beds and I have bites all over my body

Loved it except when I found bedbugs in the bed and had to change rooms, they didn't even give me a full refund :( The front staff was great though, super helpful.
