+ Fue horrible
- Muy difícil la llegada nunca pudimos llegar Y nos cobraron la reserva
*Check your bill against Hostelworld when you pay* -On checkout our room cost was x2 higher than HW. Learnt that they double booked our room, and put us in a more expensive room without us realising. An extra $110k more per night was added + the extra night we booked through them directly was $200k more as it was a ‘weekend’🤯 after alot of back n forth we got the difference for the first two nights back thankfully but it all just felt a bit disappointing + scammy. Nice place but screwed ...
No storage lockers. No hot water. They tell you that you can leave your valuables at the front desk for protection if you like, but when I asked, they said that they do not offer that service. They made me sign a contract saying that I’m responsible for all of my belongings. They told me not to worry because no one had ever stole anything before. So why would they want me to take full accountability in a contract? Shared room.

À savoir que l’auberge n’est pas proche de la ville du tout. Il faut une bonne heure de marche pour s’y rendre, ou 20-25 minutes de tuktuk (20-25k pesos.) Il faut aussi savoir que la cuisine n’est pas accessible, et que chaque repas est chargé à l’invité, environ 32k chaque. En somme, ce n’est pas l’auberge la plus rentable que vous trouverez, mais l’atmosphère est incroyable. Au centre de la jungle, avec plusieurs accès à une rivière à l’eau claire comme le crystal.

- La cama era pequeña para una pareja, y la hora del check out me pareció super temprano, casi no pudimos disfrutar las instalaciones porque hubo que salir muy temprano.

- En la habitación hacia demasiado calor, se agradecería que al menos tuvieran un ventilador

- La habitación muy sucia con telarañas, no habían actividades de fogata como decía la reserva, la atención del personal muy regular y nadie nos ayudó con las maletas, ni siquiera con la apertura de la puerta vehicular para ingresar, nos tocó abrirla a nosotros porque no hay personal que reciba a los huéspedes.
+ me gustaron mucho las quebradas.
- que tuviera agua potable, y sillas mas cómodas en la habitación. Y el cobro de $40.000 COP por "limpieza mascota" me pareció excesivo, llevo mucho tiempo viajando a todo tipo de cabañas y es la primera vez que me hacen un cobro de esos, por una mascota que no hace absolutamente nada.

Lovely hostel in a great location and great atmosphere. The food is also really delicious.
Excelente ambiente y servicio, un lugar increíble que es perfecto para descansar, reconectarse y convivir con la naturaleza. Muy recomendado la verdad... La alimentación deliciosa.

Cannot say enough great things about Ritmo del Rio! Absolutely perfect nature access, language and music activities that bring more than just partying, impeccable staff who always go out of their way to make you feel a part of the space and an owner (Jesse) who is so down to earth and warm hearted. There’s so much passion behind the space here and the vision of connecting people to community, culture, and nature is so loving and pure. This place is a gem!!
+ El lugar es muy tranquilo y la magnificencia de la naturaleza es mayor de lo que las fotos expresan. La habitación muy limpia, la comida muy sana y abundante, los dos espacios para disfrutar del río son increíbles.
- No hubo actividades nocturnas el fin de semana al que fui.
Ritmo del Río me brindó una experiencia que nunca había tenido en ningún otro lugar. El personal fue amable, siempre dispuesto a ayudar, y se sentía una atmósfera cálida gracias a ellos. El lugar es espectacular, una experiencia inmersiva en el bosque y el río. El hostal cuida de la zona, y mantiene la escencia natural de San Rafael. + Logement propre, bon accueil, au calme. Nous avons aimé le musicien qui a animé la soirée et chanté en plusieurs langues ! Bravo à lui ! Repas très bon. Rien à redire.
Amazing place in the mountains of San Rafael, surrounded by beautiful nature, stunning river spots and lots of birds, they created a little paradise. The moment i arrived on that suspension bridge crossing the river, i felt like in a movie. Equipped with plenty of really good guitars, for me as a musician, this was like heaven and Jesse, the owner, is happy to have a jam with you ;) Be aware that there is no kitchen that you can use, but the food they serve is delicious! I had such a good time!

The staff here are absolutely fantastic and it's a great place to spend a few days recharging from the stress of travelling. The hostel was hosting a language exchange when I was there which was really cool. Food is also good! Only downside was lack of hot water, but not the end of the world given where you are.

Tienes acceso al rio dentro de las instalaciones lo cual lo hace mucho más cómodo para disfrutar sin tener que desplazarte a otro lugar, sin duda volvería
- El restaurante tiene muy buen sazón y presentación, sin embargo hay que mejorar las porciones de las proteínas, la trucha me decepcionó completamente.

+ Lo que verdaderamente nos sorprendió, fue su comida tan espectacular. Una tilapia que ni te imaginas, una trucha al ajillo maravillosa y una atención fenomenal. Volvería.
- La vista no es la mejor ya que hay construcción de nuevas cabañas. Sería de utilidad contar con una nevera para guardar alimentos. No recuerdo si hay servicio a la habitación (no lo vi) pero sería genial, debido a la larga distancia que toma llegar al restaurante.
+ Un lugar absolutamente hermoso rodeado de naturaleza para desconectarse de todo. La comida deliciosa, el paseo al río imperdible, la habitación muy espaciosa y cómoda. Volveremos!!
