Castaway Resort Koh Lipe

When shabby chic is just another word for “rundown and bedbug-infected”. We had payed for 7 nights but moved out after just 3 nights. Our house was dark, mold infected and full of bedbugs. A madras were changed in order to get rid of the bedbugs, but that wasn’t sufficient. We’ve stayed on two other good hotels on Koh Lipe, and cannot recommend Castaway. Despite a cozy restaurant area and nice staff.

Poor room ventilation. Much warmer than outside. Available fans not efficient. Too dark rooms at night we a flashlight to find out stuff. Sewage smelling the bathroom area.
