Castaway Resort Koh Lipe

When shabby chic is just another word for “rundown and bedbug-infected”. We had payed for 7 nights but moved out after just 3 nights. Our house was dark, mold infected and full of bedbugs. A madras were changed in order to get rid of the bedbugs, but that wasn’t sufficient. We’ve stayed on two other good hotels on Koh Lipe, and cannot recommend Castaway. Despite a cozy restaurant area and nice staff.

Location was nice. Seafront facilities had a good vibe. All available on site. The staff tried their best to clean the room after bedbugs being reported Poor room ventilation. Much warmer than outside. Available fans not efficient. Too dark rooms at night we a flashlight to find out stuff. Sewage smelling the bathroom area.
