Overrated. Expensive for a Fan Room. There are places next to it that are cheaper and have aircon for same price!

This is not a good place to stay, and most definitely do not stay here if it’s going to rain. The rooms do not have fully complete walls and so if it rains the inside of the room gets considerably wet. You will struggle to get any sleep here with the rooms not keeping light out and will wake up at 6am when it becomes light. When I arrived I was checked into my private room. The receptionist asked if I wanted to upgrade to an AC room for an extra 600php which I said no. I then found an ants nest in my bed, I asked to move rooms but she said they had none available, claiming the AC room was a dormitory. I was forced to move to another hotel, they organised me a taxi but still made me pay for my taxi to get to another location! All round terrible customer service! AVOID.

It is nice for quite vacation!

Very average. Grounds needs some attention and more lighting. Bathroom and shower stalls could do with some paint. More run down than rustic I felt. Very average and ultimately avoidable

Positive: The place is in a good position, close to Alona beach (10 mins by motorbike) and the food is all from their farm (organic food) so it's quite good. The bungalow is really small but enough for sleeping and leaving your staff safe. Very nice place into the nature. Negative: Unfortunately not everybody respects the quiet of that place so a lot of times, almost always, you will hear somebody shouting, kids playing and shouting, drunk people going back to the bungalow speaking with loud vo...

I was really disappointed by my stay here, maybe I got unlucky but I was expecting much more. I think this place is overhyped. Positives: incredible atmosphere and place to relax, very peaceful settings. Good food, great free healthy breakfast, cheap beer and friendly staff. Nice place to meet fellow travellers. Negatives: location is a bit awkward, you will need a motorbike to get around, tons of mosquitoes but half of the beds don't have nets because they don't have enough. None had one in my ...

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful and the atmosphere at the hostel was great. Very social and the family dinners are a great way to meet people. The rooms and bathrooms are very basic. Wooden structures with many gaps in which animals and insects can come through. We had various unwelcome insects/animals during our stay which wasn’t pleasant.
