- Old, dirty building, does not look at the photos. Bugs in the room. Loud air conditioning and I got cold after the stay because I was not allowed to switch it off. You need to leave your ID when you want to use hair dryer. I didn’t feel safe leaving my documents at the reception without even adding any note in the system. Humidity in the room, towels doesn’t get dry and you are not allowed to change it or get extra. Loud at night, the building close to the street and the bars. Rude, not helpful staff, manager doesn’t reply to my complain, even to booking.com.

- Es una trampa. Aparece primero cuando buscas por menor precio, pero lo barato sale caro. Es una ironía que se llamen "Freehand" cuando me sentí preso del miedo en mi propia habitación. Permitieron que una persona en un estado de alteración total por el uso de fármacos actuara como un "zombie" frente a mí. Como esta negligencia me provocó un trauma que derivó en una urticaria severa por todo el cuerpo .No se dejen engañar por el precio; su seguridad y salud no valen este riesgo. Espero que nadie más contrate este lugar.
+ El personal de trabajo es perfecto, la ubicación es buenísima, la instalación es un asco, demasiado cerca una cama de la otra , prácticamente rozas los pies del otro y son 8 personas en una habitación donde los ronquidos y el mal olor hacen de la estancia una odisea , los pasillos parecen de una prisión
- El precio es abusivo con respecto a la calidad de la instalación, no les recomiendo a nadie

- Pictures online are deceiving. Rooms is small and dilapidated. Bathroom is so tiny you can barely turn around. No extra towels. Bars dont open until 5. Parking is a nightmare. Price is not accurate for valet at AC. Food and drinks subpar. If you're expecting even the bare minimum in comparison to any Hilton or Mariott do not stay here. Worse than a college dorm room.

The Miami Freehand is an amazing place to be! Beautiful landscaping and supportive community that enables you to enjoy. Many parts of property for peace and privacy. I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was amazing. Thank you so much!
Great location, value, personnel is friendly and maintenance try to keep the place clean and tidy but rooms. The overall common areas ambient is comfortable and serene. Downs are the club music and noise boom that can be heard in the rooms not comfortable for falling asleep after long travel. The earplugs should be free and not for sale as a mitigation for the noise as a minimum courtesy to guests. Also the sanitation of rooms is not the best. This is a two stars Hotel not really a HOSTELWORLD.
They'd get a higher review if one of the housecleaners showed some hospitality. Why if I'm going into a public space are you yelling at me? Why are you lying to my face saying something is broken when it's not? Why are you on your phone during work? If you do not speak English that's not an excuse...you still can speak with respect in Spanish. Other than that I stayed at the freehand in Chicago, which is why I decided to stay at this one. It's pretty nice, love the pool, but feels constaining.
Camas cómodas, pero se veía el polvo en las literas (en la madera). Los baños muy limpios. En las noches ponen musica muy fuerte de 7 pm a 12:30 am la cual no deja dormir, es un ambiente de fiesta. El viernes la música es muy fuerte, el sábado o ya me había acostumbrado o fue un poco mas baja, el domingo estaba a un ruido agradable (aunque hubiera preferido que no hubiera musica). Hicimos late check out y fue una maravilla! Lo recomiendo ampliamente, solo la musica es el problema!
The beds are comfortable, but you could see the dust on the beds (in the wood). The bathrooms are very clean. At night they play very loud music from 7 pm to 12:30 am which does not let you sleep, it is a party atmosphere. On Friday the music is very loud, on Saturday I was either used to it or was a little quieter, on Sunday it was a pleasant noise (although I would have preferred there was no music). We checked out late and it was a wonder!
The rooms were not clean. The floors in the room had a lot of dirt on them. The window of the restroom was literally open to other buildings.

El lugar es muy bonito, siempre está limpio y huele muy bien, la comida es muy buena, la cockteleria de los bares 10 de 10, el personal siento que puede cambiar un poco su actitud hacia los huéspedes ese fue mi único detalle pero freehand Miami realmente es una excelente experiencia y es fácil de llegar hasta en transporte público en una ciudad tan grande, extraño mi cuarto
The place is very nice, it's always clean and smells great, the food is very good, the cocktail bar 10 of 10, the staff I feel can change a little bit their attitude towards guests that was my only detail but freehand Miami really is an excellent experience and it's easy to get there even by public transport in such a big city, strange my room
TERRIBILE, state alla larga da questo posto. Personale scortese. Sono arrivato alle 11 di mattina e hanno aspettato fino alle 19 per dirmi che mi avevano dato la stanza sbagliata (dormitorio femminile) e che quindi avrei dovuto reimpacchttarenthtte le mie cose e cambiare stanza. Al check out non hanno voluto tenermi i bagagli, con la scusa che tutto l’hotel era impegnato da un evento privato, quando in realtà poi tutti lasciavano i propri bagagli (ce n’erano almeno 200 in deposito).
I arrived at 11am and they waited until 7pm to tell me that they had given me the wrong room (girl bedroom) and that I should have packed my things and changed rooms. at check out they didn't want to keep my luggage, with the excuse that the whole hotel was busy with a private event, when in reality everyone was leaving their own luggage (there were at least 200 in deposit).
I think the establishment is well located and correct. It’s complicated to reach them by phone, I still haven’t gotten back my $50 deposit after more than a week.
I made so many friends here! Food was kind of expensive at the hostel, but I recommend going to Triton Supermarket behind the hostel. Very close to the beach and a great atmosphere.
Beautiful place to stay, met lot of wonderful people, beautiful garden with pool. All was fine

Freehand Miami was an excellent hostel! Very clean and great vibes. Even better it’s only two blocks from the beach! They lend beach towels and beach chairs to guests. Several food options and coffee/ bakery nearby as well. We enjoyed the two bars/ restaurant on site as well. We stayed in a private room so it was more like a hotel, but folks staying in the hostel all seemed to be getting friendly with one another in common areas. They also offer a late check out (3pm) for additional cost.
+ We loved the room, the decor. Super comfortable and good vibes in the bar area.
- There were no bikes available even at 6.30am so couldn’t avail of the perks advertised.
Showers need improvement. And some of the staff are unfriendly
+ Check-In Process with Mercy was Fast & Effortless. So late @ Night with a 'Last minute Booking. Mercy's Polite & Genuine Concern was A PLUS!. I Added a Concern about Accomodations & She made sure my room was One minute from Lobby. Mercy's Endless Smiles added to Ease Tensions from an Otherwise "Hectic Evening" Thank-You Very Much!
- I get this is a Shared Space. Though I was TRIPPING Over Open Siutcases strewn Across The Floor of A VERY SMALL Space. Food & Personal belongings took OVER Every inch of Space Available. It Was Honestly Beyond Inconvenient. I Remained Light-Hearted & STRICTLY Entered Room for Retiring @ Night & Showering. 😊

It was an amazing experience! Since the first moment the staff was very kind and helpful. The room was so beautiful and clean. I really liked it. The bed was so comfortable and you feel private in your bedroom. The facilities were so nice. The location is more than good! Located in Miami Beach the hostel is near to the beach, restaurants and bars! Very recommended.
