Overpriced. Aircon failed a few times. The toilet was not functioning properly. The 4 Bed dorm is absolutely crammed, no curtains or anything to give you any kind of privacy, so If someone wants to watch a movie the rest of the dorm has to watch it aswell. Beds are made out of wood which is just giving bedbugs a warm welcome. Breakfast is really disappointing aswell. No laundry service. It's actually not that bad, but if you consider how expensive this is and that a few $ more a night could get you your own hotel room for the night at one of the many hotels here.. It's just unbelievable how this at best mediocre hostel has reviews that good.

Great hostel with no real rival. Free sunrise/set tours every other day. I got bed bugs here so hard not to complain about it. Not their fault, but their beds are not bedbug proof and lots of cracks in the bunkbeds which doesn't help. Weird that they left the other people in the room though. Was changed to a private room, which was nice. Bit pricey, bit no real rivals and always busy so obviously doing something right.

Ostello Bello Bagan Pool is gebouwd rond een echte pool scene: een plek om af te koelen na pagodes, bij de tiki bar te hangen, happy hour mee te pakken of het mellow te houden zonder dat de hostel in een full-volume circus verandert. De sociale kant lijkt echt maar niet te pushy. Het werkt om travel buddies te ontmoeten, Bagan-plannen te delen en avonden in de common areas door te brengen, terwijl er nog ruimte blijft voor rustige pool time. Staff kan helpen met e-bikes, bussen, tuk-tuks, dagtrips, pickups en lokaal advies, wat de logistiek van Bagan veel makkelijker maakt. Kamers zijn over het algemeen schoon en comfortabel, met sterke airco op plekken, ruime privékamers, comfortabele bedden, handdoeken en nuttige touches zoals internationale stopcontacten. De locatie is handig voor New Bagan, restaurants in de buurt, kleinere monumenten en de tempels in met e-bike of fiets.
