The frontdesk guy when we checked in and frontdesk guy at night (when i complained about the bed bugs at 1:30am) and the frontdesk girl in the morning was really nice. NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Our Quadruple room bed was full with bed bugs (see below some foto's i took and zoomed it) and the worse things are the guy who claimed he clean it say it was nothing on the bed, while we checked it together and saw a lot of black things on the bed even underneath the linnen and i told him, you need camera to see it clearly, but he just clean it away with his hands and say it was no bugs, it was nothing here 🤥 and the manager also said it was nothing, maybe its mosquitos or something and kept giving an excuse instead of accept it. We asked for compensation but they offer us 2 separate rooms (1 room with 1 double bed and 1 room with 1 singel bed, while we are with 2 adults and 2 kids)we had to move to that 2 rooms for 1 night because we have no other choices and the strange things is that in the 2 rooms we had no itchy at all, but in quadruple room it was very itchy!!! Normally we stay for 2 nights overthere, but we just left /checked out right after breakfast because of trauma we had (itchy all over our body and can't sleep at all that night, we need to throw away our clothes we use for sleep to avoid bring the bugs home) But staying there, sleeping with bed bugs, get itchy is the worse experience we ever had. We even got CHEAPER price for another night and it was BRAND NEW HOTEL next to train station and WITHOUT bed bugs 😊

Lasst euch bitte nicht von den ganzen guten Rezensionen trügen. Es ist vor allem für (junge) Frauen keine so sichere Unterkunft. Mein Personalausweis wurde nicht kontrolliert; was für mich bedeutet, dass hier jeder X beliebige unterkommen kann. Ich hatte ein gemeinschaftszimmer für Frauen gebucht. Wie es in Mischzimmern ist, kann ich nicht sagen. Ich hätte mich das hier aber nicht getraut. Es liegt in einer Ecke in bahnhofsnähe, vor dem alkoholisierte Männer rumhocken. Die Toiletten im Untergeschoss sind so dreckig, ich habe keine Worte. Mein Bett war anscheinend frisch bezogen, allerdings lagen mehrere Haare auf dem Bettlaken. Die Matratze hatte ganz viele Urin Flecken. Ich musste das ganze Bett nach Bettwanzen absuchen, weil es in den letzten Monaten anscheinend vorkam (laut Besucher: innen auf booking). Unter meinem Bett in der Ecke an der wand lag etwas, das aussah wie eine benutzte Slipeinlage. Ein Zeichen, dass hier nicht vernünftig geputzt wird. Der Deckel des Boxkastens unterm Bett fiel ganze 5 mal auf meinen Kopf und auf mein Knie, als ich versuchte meine Sachen zu verstauen , sodass ich mir mehrere Beulen am Kopf und Knie zugezogen habe. Wirklich ein einziger Fiebertraum. Es ist super laut morgens, wegen gegenüberliegenden Arbeitern. Der Stromkasten am Bett und das Licht am Bett funktionieren. Das Gemeinschaftsbad ist überwiegend sauber, was die Toiletten und duschen betrifft. Allerdings wurden die Fensterbänke im Badezimmer, die hier als einzige Ablage dienen, vermutlich lange nicht mehr gewischt. Ich habe für 3 Nächte gebucht und bin nach einer Nacht ausgeheckt, weil ich es wirklich nicht mehr aushalte (und ich habe bereits in mehreren hostels übernachtet). Allerdings ist das Personal sehr nett und jung. Ich finde die Idee eigentlich gut, dass es eine paritätische Unterkunft für junge Menschen unter 27 gibt, allerdings kann das kein Standard sein. Ich verstehe nicht wie dieses Hostel über booking buchbar ist.

The location and staff I was there for only a night, and after that I had weird bite marks on my back which are really scratchy, I hope it has not been bed bugs, and unfortunately, I cannot know what it was.

The location is good and the staff is kind, but this hostel is very stripped down. The most annoying thing is that the lockers are underneath the bed. This inconvenient for fellow guests because it's loud and you're often blocking something. But most importantly every traveler and hostel worker should know that you should NEVER EVER put your luggage underneath the bed, because this is how bedbugs spread.

Betten unbequem Bettwanzen in jedem der 6 Betten!!! Mitbewohner wollte mich in Kleiderschrank einsperren Kackfleck an der Decke Unmöglich ohne offene Fenster - super heiß, auch mit offenen Fenstern hitzestau bei oberen Betten Zimmer sehen aus wie Gefängniszellen Internet ist geil --> 5 Sterne

I honestly don’t understand how this place has any good reviews. This hostel was a complete disaster. The rooms were filthy, damp, and smelled awful. The sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed in days if ever. The bathrooms were disgusting: cold showers, clogged toilets, and a constant, unbearable stench. The staff were rude and unhelpful. Every question felt like an inconvenience to them, with zero effort to make guests feel welcome. The overall atmosphere was noisy, chaotic, and honestly made me feel unsafe, especially at night. To top it all off: bed bugs. Yes, bed bugs. This place should not be in business. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyonenot even for a single night. Just stay away.

Lage super. Willkommensdrinks sind ne schöne Geste. Gepäck konnte vor und nach dem Check in dort gelagert werden. Das war super hilfreich. Lautstärke am Flur durch Jugendgruppen. Personal wirkte gestresst. Man wurde halt abgearbeitet aber ohne große Gastfreundlichkeit. M Telefon meldetem sie sich auch nur mit Hallo was ich etwas seltsam empfinde. Ansonsten wars ok. Bettwanzenstory in den Bewertungen vorher hat misstrauisch gemacht....war aber dann alles ok bei uns.

Location Looks clean but 6 of us stayed one room with bunk beds but my one of daughter got bitten by bed bug all over her body which means they need to care for cleaning for their mattress.

Ich fande den Aufenthalt schrecklich. Die Zimmer sind viel zu klein, besitzen teilweise keine Spiegel und keine Schränke. Das "Hotel/Hostel" ist eine Zumutung für jeden (vor allem bei diesen Preisen!) Die Bäder sind viel zu klein für die vielen Leute, die auf einer Etage sind, außerdem sollten sie öfter gereinigt werden. Auch auf den Zimmern lässt Hygiene zu wünschen übrig. Bettwanzen wurden, wie in anderen Rezensionen beschrieben, auch gefunden, Allergiker werden hier sehr leiden. Wer auf die Idee kommt, mit seinen Schülern oder auch selbst alleine dorthin zu fahren, tut weder seinen Schülern noch sich selbst einen Gefallen.

Umzug von einem 8er Zimmer in ein 2er Zimmer aufgrund von Bettwanzen. Am 2. Tag im 2er Zimmer aufgewacht mit Bissen der Bettwanzen trotz Umzug!! Unverschämt!

Im 2. Stock ist ein bettwanzen Nest, das geht garnicht und es ist sehr frech dass nichts dagegen unternommen wird

Auch wenn es eine preisgünstige Unterkunft sein soll ist es wirklich unverschämt das in einem Zimmer Bettwanzen (die sich von Blut ernähren) aufhalten und auf den Betten herumkrabbeln. Außerdem läuft das Stehklo im 2. Stock immer über. Einfach ekelhaft.

Bed bugs from floor to ceiling. Couldn't stand staying in the bed. Covered in bites, and blamed for bring in the bed bugs. Very insulting.

There are bed bugs in the room! I stayed for two nights and I saw two bed bugs. It's really disgusting! And the shower is really small, there is no place for you to put your stuff but two hooks on the door. However, it's useless because your clothes still get wet..

Beware there are BED BUGS here! I was in a two bed dorm and this is by far the worst hostel I stayed at during my trip. The front desk staff were rather rude checking in and out. The facility was not especially clean at all, stains on the pillow, mattress, etc. I was on the third floor and it was extremely loud, people could be heard yelling in the hallway and from the bar downstairs, as well as doors slamming and shaking the walls literally all night long. The bathrooms were dirty and the doors were kept open. Male guest were frequently coming in to use the women's showers/ bathroom facilities and nothing was done by the staff. Upon departing and removing my the sheets from the bed I found several bed bugs, and even more upon further inspection, the place was crawling with them. Highly not recommended to stay here!

Please do not stay at this hostel. My friend was bitten severely (legs, feet, hands, arms, chest, back) by bed bugs. We were given no compensation, made to pay in full for the infested bed, and accused of bringing in the bed bugs ourselves (highly offensive, especially when my friend was in a lot of pain and discomfort due to their dirty, infested beds). We wasted our time and money washing all our clothes and towels in hot water instead of travelling in Munich because the hostel failed to provide my friend with a bed that wasn't absolutely full of bed bugs. Please don't gamble with your health and comfort - stay somewhere else, there are so many hostels in Berlin to choose from. This isn't even the cheapest option.
