The 4You Hostel Munich

The location is good and the staff is kind, but this hostel is very stripped down. The most annoying thing is that the lockers are underneath the bed. This inconvenient for fellow guests because it's loud and you're often blocking something. But most importantly every traveler and hostel worker should know that you should NEVER EVER put your luggage underneath the bed, because this is how bedbugs spread.

Betten unbequem Bettwanzen in jedem der 6 Betten!!! Mitbewohner wollte mich in Kleiderschrank einsperren Kackfleck an der Decke Unmöglich ohne offene Fenster - super heiß, auch mit offenen Fenstern hitzestau bei oberen Betten Zimmer sehen aus wie Gefängniszellen Internet ist geil --> 5 Sterne

I honestly don’t understand how this place has any good reviews. This hostel was a complete disaster. The rooms were filthy, damp, and smelled awful. The sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed in days if ever. The bathrooms were disgusting: cold showers, clogged toilets, and a constant, unbearable stench. The staff were rude and unhelpful. Every question felt like an inconvenience to them, with zero effort to make guests feel welcome. The overall atmosphere was noisy, chaotic, and honestly made me feel unsafe, especially at night. To top it all off: bed bugs. Yes, bed bugs. This place should not be in business. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyonenot even for a single night. Just stay away.

Lautstärke am Flur durch Jugendgruppen. Personal wirkte gestresst. Man wurde halt abgearbeitet aber ohne große Gastfreundlichkeit. M Telefon meldetem sie sich auch nur mit Hallo was ich etwas seltsam empfinde. Ansonsten wars ok. Bettwanzenstory in den Bewertungen vorher hat misstrauisch gemacht....war aber dann alles ok bei uns.

Looks clean but 6 of us stayed one room with bunk beds but my one of daughter got bitten by bed bug all over her body which means they need to care for cleaning for their mattress.

Ich fande den Aufenthalt schrecklich. Die Zimmer sind viel zu klein, besitzen teilweise keine Spiegel und keine Schränke. Das "Hotel/Hostel" ist eine Zumutung für jeden (vor allem bei diesen Preisen!) Die Bäder sind viel zu klein für die vielen Leute, die auf einer Etage sind, außerdem sollten sie öfter gereinigt werden. Auch auf den Zimmern lässt Hygiene zu wünschen übrig. Bettwanzen wurden, wie in anderen Rezensionen beschrieben, auch gefunden, Allergiker werden hier sehr leiden. Wer auf die Idee kommt, mit seinen Schülern oder auch selbst alleine dorthin zu fahren, tut weder seinen Schülern noch sich selbst einen Gefallen.

Umzug von einem 8er Zimmer in ein 2er Zimmer aufgrund von Bettwanzen. Am 2. Tag im 2er Zimmer aufgewacht mit Bissen der Bettwanzen trotz Umzug!! Unverschämt!

Im 2. Stock ist ein bettwanzen Nest, das geht garnicht und es ist sehr frech dass nichts dagegen unternommen wird

Auch wenn es eine preisgünstige Unterkunft sein soll ist es wirklich unverschämt das in einem Zimmer Bettwanzen (die sich von Blut ernähren) aufhalten und auf den Betten herumkrabbeln. Außerdem läuft das Stehklo im 2. Stock immer über. Einfach ekelhaft.

Bed bugs from floor to ceiling. Couldn't stand staying in the bed. Covered in bites, and blamed for bring in the bed bugs. Very insulting.

There are bed bugs in the room! I stayed for two nights and I saw two bed bugs. It's really disgusting! And the shower is really small, there is no place for you to put your stuff but two hooks on the door. However, it's useless because your clothes still get wet..

Beware there are BED BUGS here! I was in a two bed dorm and this is by far the worst hostel I stayed at during my trip. The front desk staff were rather rude checking in and out. The facility was not especially clean at all, stains on the pillow, mattress, etc. I was on the third floor and it was extremely loud, people could be heard yelling in the hallway and from the bar downstairs, as well as doors slamming and shaking the walls literally all night long. The bathrooms were dirty and the doors were kept open. Male guest were frequently coming in to use the women's showers/ bathroom facilities and nothing was done by the staff. Upon departing and removing my the sheets from the bed I found several bed bugs, and even more upon further inspection, the place was crawling with them. Highly not recommended to stay here!

Please do not stay at this hostel. My friend was bitten severely (legs, feet, hands, arms, chest, back) by bed bugs. We were given no compensation, made to pay in full for the infested bed, and accused of bringing in the bed bugs ourselves (highly offensive, especially when my friend was in a lot of pain and discomfort due to their dirty, infested beds). We wasted our time and money washing all our clothes and towels in hot water instead of travelling in Munich because the hostel failed to provide my friend with a bed that wasn't absolutely full of bed bugs. Please don't gamble with your health and comfort - stay somewhere else, there are so many hostels in Berlin to choose from. This isn't even the cheapest option.
