Downtown Forest Hostel & Camping

We paid €54 expecting a private bathroom, but instead had to use dirty, smelly shared bathrooms that we couldn’t imagine showering in. The room itself was extremely small with no space for our luggage, and around the bed edges there were piles of dust and rubbish. The beds were uncomfortable, made me sweat all night, and we only later discovered reviews about bed bugs — which made us panic and check everything before sleeping. Our window faced outdoor toilets that squeaked and slammed all night, making it impossible to rest. Overall, the place felt unhygienic, cramped, and poorly maintained.

Bedbugs in room 209. I had many bites this morning. It was already mentioned in a review in December. Do something!

I WAS BITTEN BY BEDBUGS And hostel didn’t even offer me refund So I payed money for 3 hours sleep and bad mood for next days Btw: staff is nice

I was bitten by bed bugs and my neighbor in room also . They even didn’t offer me refund for this

There were bedbugs in my room and I was bitten all over the body. Unhelfull sfaff force me to move out Transparent courtins in bathroom, so people in the steet can look inside. Rooms were cold.

Bedbugs! Czyli pluskwy w łóżku gryzące niemiłosiernie :( zamieszczam zdjęcia ugryzień na przedramieniu oraz dłoni lecz jest ich więcej w innych częściach ciała. Okropność!

I stayed 3 nights during January so it was a bit slow. Wonderful place and convenient to Old Town, restaurants and a Rimi store 3 minutes away. The room doesn’t have a locker to secure your luggage/backpack. They do provide a security locker with deposit. There isn’t any privacy curtain but it did have a lamp. The room was just a bit cold but the rest of the building was cozy. I did get bit by bedbugs. Overall I enjoyed my stay and the staff was nice and helpful. I would return.
