Accoglienza terrificante. Completamente sporco (non pulito da giorni). Zona doccia praticamente all'interno della cucina. Descrizione e foto palesemente non conformi alla realtà. Il mattino mi sono svegliato nel mezzo di cimici da letto con infinite punture. Ho ritenuto opportuno denunciare il fatto alle autorità sanitarie competenti. Ostello da chiudere con la massima urgenza. Vergogna.

I had a Great time ... I was worried about previous reviews... But beds were incredible clean with special protection. So no bed bugs around at all. There was lovely people around. We did some walking around together. So a friendly atmosphere... And the staff starting with the receptionist was exclusively lovely. Always welcoming, smiling and supportive. Thank you all for the wonderful time that you contributed to may stay I Porto 🙏🏻💖🌞

I was in outisde all day for celebration for fc porto, when i returned to hostel after midnight i realized there was bed bug in the bed and I couldnt sleep all night

Our stay at Fantasy hostel was fine. The ladyies showers were not intimate enough. Also, the air conditioning in the room is very noisy, I couldn't sleep well with it next to my head. Please improve it. About the bed bugs, I had read the reviews about it, I've checked my bed before to put my stuff on it, all fine.

Look, if you're looking for comfort, this isn't the place. It's full of bad bugs, and what's more, the owner doesn't even provide a simple fan, you'll get very hot because Portugal is a hot country. I don't recommend it.

La ubicación es muy buena, está a dos minutos caminando de la estación de metro Trinidade, la cual conecta con la estación de trenes, la terminal de autobuses en Campanhã y con el aeropuerto, la estación de trenes está como a 12 minutos caminando. Los recepcionistas hablan varios idiomas, entre ellos el español. Hay elevador pero no siempre funciona bien. Las camas cuentan con cortinas, lo cual da una mayor sensación de privacidad. El problema es que la habitación está infestada de bedbugs, me hospedé en el hostel durante varios días y la comezón por las picaduras de bedbugs era insoportable, aunque limpian el lugar todos los días, los baños están sucios la mayor parte del tiempo, la mayoría de los huespedes son hombres por lo que los baños de mujeres estaban un poco más limpios, pero llegué a encontrar pelos de barba en el lavabo de mujeres, y de hecho era usual encontar hombres dentro del baño de mujeres, ya que la puerta corrediza del baño de mujeres era molesta de abrir y cerrar, la puerta hacía mucho ruido y por lo general siempre estaba abierta, el problema es que las puertas donde la gente toma las duchas son de color semitransparente y se puede ver la silueta de la persona que está tomando la ducha, por lo cual no hay mucha privcidad en los baños y no es apropiado que los hombres entren al baño de mujeres. En la cocina no hay estufa pero hay microondas, refrigeradores, un horno y utencilios de cocina, el problema es que es común que se roben la comida, a mi me robaron en dos ocasiones, una vez me robaron 4 huevos y en otra ocasión me robaron unas galletas, era usual encontrar abierta la bolsa donde guardaba la comida, por lo cual compraba muy poca comida para guardar en el hostel y prefería comprar comida ya lista para comer en el supermercado.

My experience at the hostel was extremely disappointing. The staff were very unorganized and seemed unable to manage their reservations properly. When we arrived, there was a misunderstanding regarding the payment, and the check-in process took about an hour because they couldn’t locate our reservation. The room conditions were even worse than expected. It was incredibly small, dirty, had no window, and there were bed bugs. Additionally, the common areas were very dirty and poorly maintained. Overall, it was a very unpleasant stay, and I would not recommend this hostel.

This is the worst hostel you could ever visit! Save yourself from this disgusting disaster. The rooms had bedbugs, the entire building was smelling like piss and don’t even get me started about the bathrooms: there was pee all over the floor and no paper. When we tried to enter the hostel with our room code,like instructed, it wasn’t working and we were ringing the bell for half an hour, lastly our roommate had to come and open the door for us cause no staff was around. It felt like being homeless although we paid 25€ per night.

One of the worst hostel I've ever seen in porto. Staff is so disrespected, who the hell starts drilling in the wall at 8am in the morning. Really disgusting. And there are alot of bed bugs on the bed. Got skin infection. Never recommended this hostel to anyone.

La cama tenía chinches, me cambiaron a otra pero ya había sido picado mientras dormía.

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a very distressing and unacceptable experience I had during my stay at this hostel. During my stay, I was exposed to bed bugs, which resulted in multiple bites all over my body, accompanied by severe itching, irritation, and discomfort. I personally captured one of the bed bugs and reported the issue immediately to the reception staff, showing them both the insect and the visible bite marks on my body (photos attached as evidence). From the staff’s initial reaction, it was very clear to me that they were already aware of this problem, yet showed no real concern for guests’ safety or hygiene. Instead of taking responsible action—such as closing the room, performing deep cleaning, or calling professional pest control—they simply moved me to another room. What further confirmed the seriousness of this negligence is that on the very same day, they assigned another guest to the exact same bed that I had reported as being infested. This behavior demonstrates a complete lack of responsibility, disregard for guest health, and no intention to resolve a known hygiene issue. This hostel clearly does not follow proper cleanliness standards, does not take pest infestations seriously, and puts guests at risk. Bed bugs are not a minor issue—they are a serious health and hygiene concern, and the way this situation was handled is unacceptable. I am submitting this complaint to warn future travelers and to request that Booking.com take this matter seriously and investigate this property. No guest should ever go through such an experience. I have attached photos of the bed bug and the bite marks as proof.

I found bed bugs and they changed the room. And restrooms are not that clean

Odeurs désagréables dans la chambre Il y avait tellement de punaises de lit que je n'ai pas pu dormir de la nuit. Des gens qui n'ont aucun respect Notez que ce n'est pas comme sur les photos, c'est la réalité.

El lugar un poco sucio y ruidoso, la cáma era muy cómoda pero tenía chinches me levanté todo picado. Lo que es la atención los 2 recepcionistas era muy buena onda muy amables

I would say I am a very resilient traveller - and that I know what I am about to get, if I pay very little for it. But this place just didn’t sit right with me. Location wise - it was great, right near Trinidad station which is on a good set of train lines. The staff were receptive, but not overly helpful or interested. The problem… The beds are on the floor, if you stay on the bottom bunk, the rooms are tiny - there no place to put your luggage except for downstairs. the place smells from a waste water problem, and it isn’t cleaned properly. and it there are rogue guests who are drunk and yell all the time. Lastly, the kitchen doesn’t have a stove top so you can’t actually cook. The worst part; bed bugs - I was bitten over two nights and found one bed bugs. There are reviews about bed bugs and the infestation hasn’t improved. To be fair, it’s not the worst place - but across the board it doesn’t have many redeeming features

The kitchen is unusable, maybe you can use a plate and a fork, forget about cooking. You'd better go out or buy cooked meals from the supermarket. 3 toilets for a whole floor, not nearly enough. Showers next to the kitchen with no privacy to get changed even. Go only with your towel and change in your room. Bed bugs.

Lots. The bottom bunk bed is on the floor, and the rooms are tiny and narrow - most luggage can’t be stored in the room properly. The bed I was in had bed bugs, I was bitten over two nights - I had caught and killed one bed bug but there was a second. The bathrooms had a bad smell that wafted down the corridors. The only redeeming feature was that they seemed pretty clean. The kitchen was clean but the facilities were lacking - no stove to cook, only an oven.

hygiene was very bad: - bathrooms were constantly full of piss (and other), smelly, sticky... - kitchen as well, no stove, terrible smell in there - the hallways also smells bad, it's hard to breethe thru your nose - we got bit by bed bugs...

Plaga de chinches y habitación sucia, solo cambian las sabanas pero no hay limpieza, ni higiene ni desinfección de las habitaciones a pesar de nuestra queja.

Jede Menge Bettwanzen und ich kann die Stiche von Mückenstichen unterscheiden, vor allem, wenn gar keine Mücken im Zimmer sind.

El principal problema es que las camas tienen chinches, no revise el resto de comentarios y varias personas se quejan de eso. No es limpio. Cuando di aviso a la recepción me ofrecieron cambiar de cuarto argumentando que es un problema imposible de controlar. NO PUEDES TENER UN HOSTAL SABIENDO QUE HAY CHINCHES Y SEGUIR COMO SI NADA, me parece algo muy irresponsable.

Leider hatte ich Bedbugs. Ich hab es gemeldet und es wurde zwar gereinigt und getauschto bekommt man Bedbugs nicht weg. Ich könnte in ein anderes Zimmer wechseln, dann war es okay. Es könnte generell etwas sauberer sein aber im Großen und Ganzen war es okay. War 6 Tage dort.

Las instalaciones son muy mínimas. Llegamos a la habitación y había un olor muy fuerte y desagradable que no se fue durante toda la estancia (como a desinfectante pero reutilizado) y para colmo habían chinches. De esto último nos dimos cuenta al despertarnos, pues habían salido varias durante la noche. Nunca he sido exigente con los lugares en los que he dormido puesto que viajo low-cost, pero dormir aquí es todo un despropósito de lugar. Nada recomendable.

I travel a lot, and this was one of the most unpleasant hostels I've ever stayed in. When I entered the dormitory room, there was a terrible smell—a stench of marijuana and disinfectant. Opening the window didn't help. Then I discovered bedbugs on the bed. I asked a staff, but the staff said they were all booked and could only disinfect and change the sheets. The smell was disgusting, and I waited an hour for everything to dry. It was impossible to sleep; it was so noisy, open window to main road. The building had no signal and the Wi-Fi didn't work. Unfortunately, I couldn't rebook another hostel; it was nighttime and everything was full. The women's showers were dirty, and the hair dryer didn't work.

The heat was unbearable (found out later I could ask to use the air-conditioning) and the noise from the passing cars was annoying. And my bad luck I got bitten by bedbugs. However I can change rooms the next morning.

Quand l'hôtel était neuf, ils se sont occupés de la propreté et des clients. Je suis toujours revenu dans cet hôtel, mais cette fois, c'est catastrophique, surtout en termes de propreté, de tact ou d'accueil , j’ai trouvé des punaises de lit et quand je me suis adressé vers l’accueil en lui disant que j’ai vraiment une peau très sensible et allergique aux insectes, le mec me répond : c’est un problème pour tout le monde

Si o sí el check in lo haces a las 15h, si llegas antes no miran si quiera si tú cama está lista, pero puedes dejar tú equipaje junto a recepción. Me asignaron una cama que tuve que pedir me la cambiaran porque había un montón de bichitos ( no sé si eran chinches) en las cortinas; y me dan otra cama en otra habitación que no habían cambiado las sábanas 🤦🏼‍♀️. En fin, la limpieza, a mejorar. Hay cocina, pero no hay vitro, ni fuegos, ni utensilios para cocinar nada.

Bettwanzen! Der niedrige Preis ist es nicht wert Leute, geht woanders hin!! Es gibt auch keinen Herd in der Küche und es ist super ungemütlich überall.

Ich habe es als ein nicht sehr soziales Hostel wahrgenommen und ich hatte Bettwanzen .

Bettwanzen!!! War 7 Wochen in Spanien/Portugal reisen und hier habe ich mir Bettwanzen eingefangen..

Chinches! Me desvelé a mitad de la noche y he encontrado dos chinches andando por la pared al lado de mi cama, ya estaba la habitación un poco sucia pero revisé y al principio no ví nada por eso estaba más tranquila

I had a bed bug in my bed and whilst they offered to clean my room there wasn’t an option to swap rooms. I decided to leave that night as I wasn’t comfortable and because I booked on booking.com I have to go through them for a refund. The staff were very friendly and helpful in that process however booking.com still haven’t responded to my request despite saying they’d respond in 24hs.

Il ya des punaises de lit

Gestion nefasta, solo tiene bien la ubicacion que no sirve de nada si tienes que salir por patas. Por 4 veces me dieron cama ocupada por otras personas y a mi mente solo vinieron chinches por el mal olor de la persona que me acompaño a ver que realmente estaban ocupadas. Booking tampoco fue de ayuda. Si puedes evitarlo, ve a cualquier parte antes que aquí 🤮🤮

Unclean hostel and got bit by bedbugs here. Would not recommend.

Bedbugs everywhere, and the hostel staff turn a blind eye to it judging from past reviews. They have refused to acknowledge the problem or offer a refund. Food in communal fridges was stolen, and numerous other guests have mentioned they have not felt safe in the hostel. Photos advertised for dorms and beds use distorted angles. They're unfaithful and spaces are much smaller in reality. If you look at some of the 5-star reviews closely, it appears the hotel staff hired people to write fake reviews. I would avoid this place if possible.
