   Great location within walking distance of public transit and a variety of restaurants, cafes, and boutiques. The vibe is social but chill. I enjoyed going out and visiting nearby places with other guests. Small concerns: Some places to plug in, but a lot of outlets don't provide power. There's not space to hang towels or put objects in showers. When more than one person is showering (there is one bathroom, gender neutral, for all residents) water pressure significantly decreases. Medium concerns: The room I booked was advertised with A/C. It did not have A/C. The listing said there was a washing machine as an amenity; I was informed that was incorrect so had to pay for laundry services at another business (a cost that I thought would have been avoided). The wifi is not strong enough for coworking; I had to go to a nearby cafe to take calls. There's a variety of misleading and conflicting signage around the hostel regarding reception availability, cost of renting a towel, wifi passwords, and more. The free breakfast advertised is bread, jam, and tea or instant coffee; the kitchen doesn't have an oven or stovetop, so plan to not prepare food. The women's shower area (off of the restroom) door does not close all the way and the doorknob is broken. Big concern: More than anything, management was odd. Along with the misleading signage and incorrectly advertised amenities. On my second day, my food was stolen despite labeling it very obviously, and when I told reception they said "this happens at hostels all the time...well what do you want me to do about it?"—have some sympathy and hospitality maybe? Send a message in the whatsapp to remind people not to take labeled food that isn't theirs? They also deleted messages in the whatsapp about opening the door (after hours, we'd often be locked out for 5-10 minutes if someone wasn't at the desk, so sending a message was common protocol), and other girls' concerns about potential bedbugs. A simple address like "thank you for bringing this to our attention, we take it seriously" would have been way more professional. Instead they deleted it and never addressed it.

   Listen the hostel was fine. But we were overcharged £160, along with multiple others at the hostel who were overcharged more or less. The owner is a slimey b****** who was only able to return half of the money owed to myself and multiple others. I’ve never had a hostel do this before. I’m now going to have to claim a ‘scam’ with my bank and hopefully get my money back. Don’t go it’s not worth the hassle.

   My overall stay was okay-ish. I encountered a few problems. The first was that they overcharged my on my creditcard. The communication was a bit hard, depending on the person because some staff couldn't really speak English and they had to ask their boss that wasn't on the premises. In the end I got some money back but not all of it even though I communicated clearly the amount. The womens showers were gross, hair everywhere. But the beds were good, nice matrassess. Location was also nice.

   Location is great. During our stay a staff member got caught taking pictures of the girls in the female shower room. The staff’s response to the situation was not respectful and made people feel more unsafe. So to the women; keep an eye out and be safe if you choose to stay here. Also a lot of the services mentioned don’t actually exist (airport shuttle, laundry).

   🚨 Alert 🚨 Staff member took photos of the woman’s in and outside the showers. They denied everything and two days later, the staff member was already there again. Everyone in the hostel knew it, but they also deleted the massages in the groupchat, so tried to hide it.

   Unfortunately my time here was rather negative. There occurred an incident with a male staff member filming girls through the window of the women’s shower room, and the entire staff and even the hostel owner denied the allegations and left the victims helpless and traumatized. Staff deleted all messages about the incident from the hostel WhatsApp chat, too. I did not feel safe in the hostel and left as soon as possible. Hot water didn’t work in the showers. Also, they offered discounts in exchange for 10

   Upon a rival staff were unfriendly, it was freezing at night - when I asked for another blank they said they did not have any. Showers were terrible and breakfast unsatisfactory. It is very noisy at night due to bars beneath. While I was there a male staff member was caught filming 2 young women while they showered. The Hostel has denied any wrong doing and nothing was found in their "internal investigation". Would not recommend staying here at all/

   During my stay, a woman was filmed in the ladies shower room while taking a shower by a staff member. The owner later accused her of lying and threatend her with the police. This is not how you treat a victim. Do not go there.

    despite the high reviews this hostel is not worth staying in, the staff members are quite rude and there occurred an incident with the male staff members taking photos of female guests showering and changing save your time and money and book somewhere else 😌

    DO NOT STAY. Owner is a thief and lier. Overcharged and refused to pay back thedifference. Say they hace laundry and they don't. Weird entry situation (just get keys...) and cold showers.

    I stayed here twice as a solo female traveler. the first time a female guest warned me that one of the male employees was caught filming her kissing another girl she had met in the hostel. Because I liked the location and vibe of the guests I returned a few weeks later. This same employee was caught filming women in the WOMENS ONLY SHOWER. He deleted our messages in the Whatsapp chat warning the other guests. If you are a woman or a queer person this is an unsafe place for you. Disappointing.

    - Great location - Nice and bright co-working space - Good social space with a tv that can be used - This hostel has a lot of (unmet) potential - Despite all of the issues, I managed to have an OK time here - I heard from other guests that they will reduce rates in exchange for a high review - The owner has a dog that roams freely (this is fine but should be stated for those who are scared of dogs) (sidenote that the dog isn’t completely toilet trained) - You have to text in a whatsapp group to enter after 7pm, on one occasion the guy who stays awake to attend these messages fell asleep and a girl was locked out, calling everyone in the group chat at 4am to get someone to let her in - The showers often stop completely and the water pressure is low - The doors are falling off of multiple of the lockers, and some do not even have hinges to add a lock - Some beds do not have plugs/a light - There are no amenities in the kitchen (not even a single fork, bowl, plate etc and no sink to wash anything in) - They say they serve breakfast but the most I saw was a few pinguino bars - Witnessed some guests who had arrived and booked be told there was no space for them and they had to go elsewhere - The hostel is still under active construction, it has a lot of potential but so much needs to be changed

    The cleaning ladies were sweet and always kind to me. I also thought the people staying at the hostel were nice too. The location was great. The man who checked me in was incredibly rude and creepy. Really inappropriate behavior..he messaged me on WhatsApp separately from the group chat with the other visitors and was trying to get me to go out with him for drinks. He made my stay feel really uncomfortable along with another man who worked there who walked in while one of the girls in my room was changing and didn’t even knock. The place itself was under construction so it was really loud every morning and the place didn’t match the photos from booking.com.

    Not ready to open. This hostel is in a great location, but the hostels systems are not up to scratch. They kept double booking beds and telling people they needed to found accommodation elsewhere at last minute. The security was also quite poor and relied on waiting outside until a doorman saw you and would just let you in with no verification

    I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hostel. The place is still half a building site with workers coming in and out, dirty rags all over the floors, building supplies stacked up in the kitchen and a layer of sawdust on top of the lockers and even in my bunk. Some of the lockers didn’t have locks & the rooms didn’t have keys so anyone could enter. The intercom also doesn’t work so I had to wait for someone to leave in order to get in& there was also never someone at reception. & Little hot water
