   This hostel is a joke. Aside from the fact that there was a used condom in our private room, the room itself was extremely basic, and there weren’t even towels provided, the real disaster was the airport transfer. I paid 170,000 kip extra for an airport transfer to make sure I would arrive at the airport on time early in the morning. Surprise: at 4:50 AM I was standing there, fully ready, and the guy on duty simply told me he couldn’t reach anyone and that I should take care of it myself. I was given no phone number, no help, nothing and as a result, I nearly missed my flight. In the end, I had to pay him another 100,000 kip so he could drive me 8 minutes to the airport in his private car?!? An absolute rip-off. For this amount of money, you can get something 120% better in the capital of Laos. Never again.

   • Someone cleaned my bed without my permission. I lost my towel because of it and they weren’t able to find it.

   Cozy reception area. Breakfast was superb! The room has a good privacy among all the hostels I stayed with. Though the comfort room is not cleaned from time to time. You would feel dirt under your feet as they dont allow you to wear slippers in most parts. Someone cleaned my bed without my permission. I lost my towel because of it and they weren’t able to find it.

   • We went to the hotel's desk and told we booked through booking app. The reception took our phone and said "We booked their room for cheap price so we have to pay double price for the room to stay". Then instantly refused and cancel our booking but they weren't responding to Agoda app.

   Just travelled from Nha trang to Vientiane (Almost 1,500km in 2 days by bus) and booked this hostel's private room on 18th Friday. We went to the hotel's desk and told we booked through booking app. The reception took our phone and said "We booked their room for cheap price so we have to pay double price for the room to stay". Then instantly refused and cancel our booking but they weren't responding to Agoda app. If you are going to book their hotel through app make sure bring some cash to stay their hostel. The hostel tried to hustle us but We contacted to Agoda and got our refund after 10 hours! Our stay at Vientaine has ruined due to their greed. Hope their meet their karma for making people tired and ruin their day.

   • one of the staff was filming us playing cards in the downstairs area repeatedly when we asked him to stop! It made us feel quite uncomfortable.

   This hostel is basic but it did the job, nice rooms and clean, showers a bit broken but work. Air conditioning was good! My main reason for only giving 3 stars is that one of the staff was filming us playing cards in the downstairs area repeatedly when we asked him to stop! It made us feel quite uncomfortable. I realise that happens in Laos sometimes but I wouldn’t expect that from a member of staff.

   Good if you only need a room. Security was not on duty when supposed to be and guests were harassed at the entrance and this person tried to enter multiple times and made me very worried.
