Theft/security Hostelworld
Although the property itself was clean as were the facilities, the bedroom door did not lock and therefore we felt less comfortable during our stay due to the hostel being on a main street. Although the hostel said that the main door to the building locks in the evening until the morning between certain hours, this didn’t happen the doors remained open and accessible to anyone which added to unsafe feeling we had to…

This hostel is a joke. Aside from the fact that there was a used condom in our private room, the room itself was extremely basic, and there weren’t even towels provided, the real disaster was the airport transfer. I paid 170,000 kip extra for an airport transfer to make sure I would arrive at the airport on time early in the morning. Surprise: at 4:50 AM I was standing there, fully ready, and the guy on duty simply t…

really disappointing. he tried to charge us 400000kip extra, when we asked why he dropped 200000kip no issues. he said they use their own exchange rate of 24000kip to 1 USD (the exchange rate is 21500kip). they overcharged us even taking their rate into account. our mattress was shocking, you could see the springs under the sheets, and they woke us up in the night when i rolled over. we got one single duvet for a dou…

Beds were big and comfy. Quite hostel which is meant a good night sleep, we weren’t there to socialise so not the end of the world but just a warning. The showers on the first floor were awful though. No hooks for anything, both shower heads were not attached to the wall so you had to hold the shower head whilst also holding your clothes as there was nowhere to put them without getting wet. Worst shower I’ve had in 4…

Cozy reception area. Breakfast was superb! The room has a good privacy among all the hostels I stayed with. Though the comfort room is not cleaned from time to time. You would feel dirt under your feet as they dont allow you to wear slippers in most parts. Someone cleaned my bed without my permission. I lost my towel because of it and they weren’t able to find it.

Just travelled from Nha trang to Vientiane (Almost 1,500km in 2 days by bus) and booked this hostel's private room on 18th Friday. We went to the hotel's desk and told we booked through booking app. The reception took our phone and said "We booked their room for cheap price so we have to pay double price for the room to stay". Then instantly refused and cancel our booking but they weren't responding to Agoda app. If…

Room was clean but extremely basic, basically a mattress on the floor. A/C wasn't working properly so was uncomfortably hot at night. Staff were hardly ever around so couldn't even ask for a fan. Atmosphere was dead, saw about 3 other people during our stay. Front door was unlocked the entire time. Location was perfect & right in the centre. If you just want a bed and quiet night's sleep it'll suit you, but for anyth…

Good if you only need a room. Security was not on duty when supposed to be and guests were harassed at the entrance and this person tried to enter multiple times and made me very worried.

Nice hostel! wish the security was better. Lockers have no lock and you can’t use your own. The room has no lock and anyone can walk in. Staff wasn’t the most helpful but we weren’t staying in Vientiane for that long so it’s fine.

Theft/security Hostelworld
Really nice rooms and bathrooms, great AC and comfy very private beds. Everything was very clean and new. Security could have been better, there was no lock on the door. Location is next to lots of amenities but quite a walk from the city’s main attractions. Very comfortable stay for a couple of nights
