   I honestly think putting this property on hostel world only give negative effect on trustworthiness of the website. It was absolutely filthy and disgusting and all the 4,5 stars review on Google is seriously a fake. Please don't recommend this place to ANYONE!

   This is honestly the worst hostel I’ve ever seen. The staff is extremely rude and has no idea how to talk to customers. Rooms are dirty, bathrooms are stinky, and the whole place feels unhygienic. Totally not worth the money! To make it worse, I noticed many fake positive reviews on sites like Agoda and Booking.com — don’t fall for them. Save your time and money, and stay somewhere else.

   All the reviews are true. My booking was cancelled by them while I was standing at the reception. Additionally, when I booked online, I paid three times the price for an immediate booking. It seemed so intentional. For a place of lower quality or the same type of disappointment. There are better hostels and other accommodations in Geylang. Please check them on Google, Booking, Klook, and other booking platforms. Discovering these places might be tricky. This place is definitely not worth it unless you have no other choice.

   Came to Singapore for the first time thinking even the cheapest hostel I could afford won't be not too bad but man I was wrong. I've stayed at so many dirty gross hostels and especially in developing countries but man I could not believe my eyes that this is Singapore. Absolutely disgusting and smells so bad and zero security. Back door is always open to the alley and room door never gets locked and people staying there has no respect for others. Literally all those 5/5 star review is 100% FAKE. Let's hope the owner will not delete what's real shown to the world. It was absolutely DISGUSTING.

   AVOID AT ALL COST ‼️ For all stays, this is easily rank F. Male toilet is in a very bad state, which I presume for a long time, without reparation. The smell of the toilet leaked to the reception. Everything is crammed. The rooms are untidy, perhaps due to a lot of long-term tenants Locks are for decorations. Not feeling safe while staying. Customer service is basically nonexistent. Reception doesn't open until 10 AM, so you have only 1 hour window to check out before being penalised; it closed at 6 PM, despite claiming at 10. I booked 7 nights, but checked out after 3. This is totally unacceptable. EDIT: Skip all the 5 ⭐ fake reviews. It's not what a majority of us are experiencing.

   FAKE REVIEWS! Campbell Inn. This place is surviving on fake 5 star reviews and photos from over 2 years ago. (The photo of the check-in booth isn't the real situation) Just please beware. Don't be that backpacker who books here because nothing else is available in Singapore for the night. Even then it's NOT worth it. BEDROOM NOT LIKE PHOTOS: MOLD ON ROOF. People coughing all night. I couldn't stand the idea of mold spores getting in my lungs too so I left at 5am. Read reviews on RATS getting in rooms. With video evidence. No rubbish bin. No shelves. I had no night light. Anyone can walk in Campbell Inn hostel and into your room, as nothing was ever closed locked. SHOWERS NOT LIKE PHOTOS: lots of tiny bugs crawling out of vents. No shower mount/holder, you have to hold it up and let it hang when putting on soap. No shelves for your stuff/soap. No hangers for towel or clothes. Tiniest shower cubicle. Dodgy doors. TOILETS: No sanitary bin. Water all over floor and seat. No shelves for sanitary items. WASHING MACHINE NOT LIKE PHOTOS: dried up wash powder & rust all over the machine. Looks like a good way to get your clothes dirty than clean. BAG STORAGE: No 'safe room' per say. This place would be shut down if the Singaporean authorities did an inspection.
