They overbook and charge you. Then they try to send you somewhere else (they have some kind of agreement with other hostels). And even though it was further away from the beach and city, and the rating was lower, they try to charge the same for that. It was very hard arguing with them, I just wanted to cancel, but they tried to convince me to stay "don't worry" as I here a lot in Asia. Hostel is nice. Near to the Beach. Unfortunately, I had Bedbugs in my bed. So maybe lay low for the upcoming weeks till they fix the problem…

The hostel lies by saying it is 6 beds room with A/C but it is actually 8 and they turn off the A/C at night or make it higher than 27c to the point i had to sleep outside for 2 hours. and when complained thr managment didnt do anything. I really loved the Vibes and the Volunners (Stella, Lisa & Nicola) and wished i could have stayed longer.

Good location right next to the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Also coffee and free water is available. They have a hair dryer and towels. Unfortunately, our room was very dirty and in worse condition than we expected from det picture. The window didn’t have any curtains so the light would come in every morning. Thee sheets, pillows and towels were smelly. No proper duvet, only think polyester blanket… overall, I would not recommend because of the dirtiness, light and lack of proper blan...

Overall, I would recommend the hostel. What we liked was the location, the laid back vibe, the free water refill and an exceptionally friendly staff. What we didn’t like was the windowless room, and that there was no kitchen, although the place had a fridge. Our room was very basic and not very inviting, but for just sleeping in there, it was fine. The social areas were small but cozy

Ein sehr schönes Hostel, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und wir hatten 2 schöne Tage dort. Die Lage an der Hauptstraße ist auch sehr praktisch.

Vine por dos noches y me quedé casi un mes. Recomiendo mucho Home Sol, siempre limpio. El personal excelente, muy amables, dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento. Ambiente amigable. Ahí mismo puedes alquilar moto o reservar excursiones con muy buenos precios. La playa está a solo 3 minutos caminando y es en la zona más tranquila de Cenang con la mejor vista del atardecer. Recomiendo este sitio.

Un pedacito de mi corazón sigue en Home sol Guesthouse. Es sin duda uno de los mejores hostels en los que he estado. No es solo porque sus instalaciones tienen todo lo que necesitas: comodidad, limpieza, buena ubicación, es porque se genera un ambiente de familia que te acoge y hace que te sientas como en casa. Sehr zu empfehlen! Sehr sehr sauber und gepflegt! Nachts ist es schön ruhig und die Betten sind sehr bequem, wodurch ich einen sehr erholsamen Schlaf hatte. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet und kümmerst sich umgehend um alle Anfragen! Draußen gibt es eine sehr gemütliche chill area mit mehreren Sofas und cozy Lichterketten! Aus diesem Grund habe ich gleich zwei mal meinen Aufenthalt verlängert und kann es jedem nur empfehlen! Hier bekommt man wirklich etwas geboten und Preis Leistung ist unsch...

Home Sol ist die Unterkunft, die jeder wählen sollte, der eine entspannte Atmosphäre, saubere Zimmer und einen super Host sucht! Nähe zum Strand und zu Restaurants und Shops, viel Unterstützung bei Ausflügen etc. Einfach relaxed!

It’s my 3rd time to Langkawi after 10years! HomeSol definitely changed my impression for this island! Rooms are clean, toilet is spacious! Location is perfect compared to other guest houses inside the small lane- its located at the Main Street and next to a well-known Thai restaurant. And lastly Not forgetting to praise the hostel staffs! A BIG shout out to Enrico & Nuno!! They were so helpful!!! Good luck to your future intake !!

Nos hemos alojado varios días en Home Sol Guesthouse y hemos quedado encantados. Tiene una ubicación excelente, muy cerca de la playa y de la calle principal, llena de restaurantes y tiendas. El hostel es limpio, cómodo y con un ambiente increíble de mochileros. Se convirtió en nuestra familia y en nuestra casa durante nuestra estancia, gracias a ellos conocimos Langkawi de una forma muy especial. ¡Muchas gracias por todo!
