Piedra Blanca Backpackers Hostel

Super rude staff, had a really aggressive interaction with the male owner as a result of a miscommunication on their side. As a young female traveller it made me feel super scared and unsafe. Owner CAME INTO THE SHOWERS while we were bathing to shout at us. Very weird behaviour. Would not recommend staying here as a result as I also saw bed bugs crawling around and my head was itching

Be aware there are bed bugs!!! If you can avoid this place, do it!

BEWARE OF THE BEDBUGS!!! I had bedbugs in my bed & the staff couldn’t handle the situation more poorly. They took no responsibility for it + blamed it on me (of course…). I left the place after one night. The manager/owner was super rude & refused to negotiate the price after I told them about the bugs. I had to pay the total amount (although I spent my only night there on the couch in the common area/kitchen, using with my personal towel as a blanket .. lol). Worst hostel experience ever.
