a&o Salzburg Hauptbahnhof

Es war sehr laut. In Zimmer lag überall Müll In Zimmer waren noch Papiere von den vorigen Gast. Alles war verstaubt Seid der Übernachtung bin ich und mein Mann am Bein zerbissen also evt Bettwanzen. Nachtruhe würde nie eingehalten, so das es immer sehr laut war Waschbecken hat getropft Ladestation so wie Steckdosen defekt so das dass Handy über 10 Stunden zum Aufladen Gebrauch hat

we went on a school trip to salzburg for two days and the school decided we were staying in this hostel. the room we stayed in had leftover mouldy food was dirty and unhygienic. i also checked for bed bugs but there was none. the room was also very cold even after we blocked off any kind off wind from coming in the room. the location of this hostel is very bad.

I only spent one night here and I’m now covered in bed bug bites all over my body and face. Update: They requested photos of the bites which I sent via email but the manager’s response was that I most likely got them in another hotel/hostel or on the bus. I have bites on my eye lid, forehead and cheek and the manager concluded I got those while sitting on a bus fully awake with my eyes open. Hospitality industry for you. Do not stay there.

The room we had was clean and maintained and it was in a very convenient location. However I got bed bugs, I was the only one who got them in the 4 person dorm but it is very inconvenient as I’m travelling for a while.

BED BUG ALERT!! I stayed at this hostel with my mom for just two nights and both of us are covered in bed bug bites now! I was even able to notice one on me/the sheets during our stay and freaked out, but wasn't able to capture it on camera unfortunately. There's more criticism to be had for this room (e.g. its size) but I'm pretty sure bed bugs is the most relevant and important thing to point out here. The service was rather chaotic and there was dirty/half-cleaned silverware put together with "clean" ones. That's unacceptable and unsanitary. The location is alright but also not that great, you still have to walk quite a bit to the central station and the pavement is not smooth which makes it rather difficult with big and heavy suitcases. Do not recommend, especially because you can get much better for the price point (almost 400€ for all this...)

Ich war in dem Hotel, und das Bett hatte Bettwanzen. Niemand hat mir geholfen, und als ich es dem Hausmeister gesagt habe, sagte er, die größten wären nur 0,5 mm, und das fand ich absurd. Er sagt, dass die nicht beißen würden. Obwohl ich komplett zerstochen war dann zunächst zum Zimmer, das Zimmer war klein man konnte die Türen nicht abschließen und nicht mal die Badtür, da das Schloss kaputt war als Nächstes. Komm bitte zu dem Standort. Der Standort war relativ zentral neben dem Hauptbahnhof. Das hat bedeutet, dass es immer laut war. Wenn man rausgegangen ist, hat man nur kriminell veranlagte Menschen gesehen, ich fand es nicht toll, da ich am Abend das Fenster schließen musste, da fast ein Mann reingekommen wäre. Die Polizei ist locker zehnmal am Hotel vorbeigefahren und hat auch in die Zimmer geguckt, die Rezeption konnte kein Deutsch und noch nicht mal flüssiges Englisch. Man war wirklich aufgeschmissen das einzige, was man in dem Hotel machen konnte, war es zu verlassen. Es hat wirklich null Spaß gemacht und es ist ein Hotel in dass man nicht wieder gehen möchte. Das Frühstück war ekelhaft und nicht genießbar. Jeder konnte in das Zimmer reingucken und reingehen Staublack überall rum. Es ist echt nicht zu empfehlen besonders, wenn ihr da mehrere Tage seid. Nehmt euch lieber das Hotel daneben für 30 € mehr die Nacht. Trotzdem hoffe ich, dass sie das Hotel verbessertund wenn sie das nicht tun, wundert es mich nicht.

We booked 3 beds in a 4 beds room directly on their site and paid the price at the end of the process. I did received a mail for online check in, I did started the process and at the end I have to pay another 4.50 Euro. Why? I already paid the price you asked for booking, on your site. At the reception we have to pay another 10.50 for bed sheets. We finally arrived in our room, there was another woman and the fun begin. She did speak in her sleep and laugh whole night long, we barely slept around 3 hour all 3. At 5:30 in the morning left our room because we cannot stay there waiting for a miracle. As location is ok, near the central station and around 20 minutes from Old center, if you like to walk. If you want to book here be advised - bedbug bites is a bonus. ps - take a room for yourself, avoid a night without sleep.

Left this place covered in bedbug bites. We alerted the receptionist when we found bed bugs in the room after our first night. She was sweet and seemed concerned, told us she would check the room but I don't think much was done. We left the next day with more bites and welts. A few other things, the layout is bizzare, you take the elevator up to the third floor, climb up some stairs then down some to find your 3rd floor room. Trying to take the stairs down is a maze. Rooms are also very loud, it sounded like we could hear every word of conversations in the hall way as well as outside our window. This was our second stay at an A&O and both have been disappointing.

Als wir ankamen, hatte sich der Preis plötzlich um 10€ pro Person gegenüber dem ursprünglichen Angebot erhöht. Wir hatten leider aus zeitlichen Gründen keine Möglichkeit uns ein anderes Hotel zu suchen und mussten den Preis bezahlen. Die Sauberkeit steht hier eher weniger im Vordergrund. Meine Arme/Beine und mein Hals waren nach dem Besuch in dieser Unterkunft voller Bisse, da in unserem Zimmer Bettwanzen waren. Dies hat das Hostel auch bestätigt, ich habe mein Geld allerdings nicht erstattet bekommen. Das Frühstück war sehr schlicht, es wurde nicht aufgefüllt und Käse/Wurst eher unappetitlich.
