unfortunately we got bed bugs there, we slept in the 25 ppl dorm. apart from that it was nice, the party is fun, the atmosphere is nice, you get to meet many people, it's very social. although everything is quite expensive and there's not much to do next to partying and tubing. I would recommend coming for one party night and leave the next morning to a beach place in buritaca

Sadly we got bedbugs, reception changed our room after us saying we didn’t want to sleep in the room anymore but didn’t offer to do laundry or money off or anything. No point coming here unless you want to party. Party was good but would have been better if they played different types of music. Food was good but the breakfast wasn’t that nice. Facilities were good and most of the staff were nice. Beds were super comfy minus the bed bugs. Toilets and showers were clean. WiFi was rubbish though.

Most fun party hostel we stayed at in Latin America - very expensive though and not that clean, keep an eye out for bed bugs. Staff very nice, Hamish and Tim were helpful and looked after us. Would recommend no more than 2-3 nights

Good social vibe if you want to party. Music is on loud until late and the dorms are all outside so you can hear everything. Pretty sure they also gave me bed bugs but all the sheets are dark so it makes it hard to tell (had bites appear 2 days after so not 100%) but didn’t feel like the cleanest of places.

Tipsy Tubing ist hier der Signature Move: tagsüber River-Time, danach rollt der soziale Kreislauf in große elektronische Partynächte. Rio Hostel Buritaca liegt in einem Dschungel-Fluss-Setting mit Schwimmen, Volleyball, Pool, viel Hangout-Fläche und einem Aktivitätenmenü, das Community-Volunteering, Hikes, Yoga, Massagen, Paintball, Tayrona-Trips und Wasserfallpläne enthalten kann. Das ist ein party-first Ort, besonders rund um Donnerstag, Sonntag und andere größere Eventnächte. Die Crowd ist international und sozial, mit viel elektronischer Musik, easy Friend-making und einem festivalartigen Setup, bei dem sich das Hostel eher wie ein abgeschottetes Erwachsenen-Summercamp anfühlen kann als wie eine ruhige Backpacker-Basis. Essen ist ein großer Teil des Setups, weil das Hostel abgelegen ist und es keine Gemeinschaftsküche gibt. Restaurant, Bäckerei, Pizzabar und Café vor Ort können wirklich gut sein, mit Pizza und Gebäck als Standouts, aber die Preise sind für die Gegend oft hoch und mitgebrachtes Essen kann eingeschränkt sein. Zimmer und Komfort sind uneinheitlich. Einige Betten haben Moskitonetze und manche Dorms Ventilatoren oder AC, aber Hitze, Feuchtigkeit, schwache Duschen, begrenzte Privatsphäre, basic Dorms und gelegentliche Sauberkeitsprobleme können den Aufenthalt runterziehen. Komm für River-Chaos, Partys und soziale Dichte; wähle woanders für Schlaf, Budgetkontrolle, zuverlässiges Wi-Fi oder ein ruhiges kolumbianisches Beach-Town-Gefühl.

- Wi-Fi ist begrenzt und funktioniert eventuell nur nahe Rezeption, Restaurant oder Coworking-Bereich.
- Das Hostel ist abgelegen, hat keine Gemeinschaftsküche, und Essen oder Getränke vor Ort können schnell teuer werden.
- Elektronische Musik kann spät laufen und bis in die Zimmer reichen, also ist das keine starke Schlafwahl.
