unfortunately we got bed bugs there, we slept in the 25 ppl dorm. apart from that it was nice, the party is fun, the atmosphere is nice, you get to meet many people, it's very social. although everything is quite expensive and there's not much to do next to partying and tubing. I would recommend coming for one party night and leave the next morning to a beach place in buritaca

Sadly we got bedbugs, reception changed our room after us saying we didn’t want to sleep in the room anymore but didn’t offer to do laundry or money off or anything. No point coming here unless you want to party. Party was good but would have been better if they played different types of music. Food was good but the breakfast wasn’t that nice. Facilities were good and most of the staff were nice. Beds were super comfy minus the bed bugs. Toilets and showers were clean. WiFi was rubbish though.

Most fun party hostel we stayed at in Latin America - very expensive though and not that clean, keep an eye out for bed bugs. Staff very nice, Hamish and Tim were helpful and looked after us. Would recommend no more than 2-3 nights

Good social vibe if you want to party. Music is on loud until late and the dorms are all outside so you can hear everything. Pretty sure they also gave me bed bugs but all the sheets are dark so it makes it hard to tell (had bites appear 2 days after so not 100%) but didn’t feel like the cleanest of places.

Il tipsy tubing è la mossa firma qui: tempo sul fiume di giorno, poi il circuito sociale gira verso grandi notti di party elettronico. Rio Hostel Buritaca sta in un contesto giungla-fiume con nuoto, volley, piscina, tanti spazi per stare in giro e un menu attività che può includere volontariato comunitario, hike, yoga, massaggi, paintball, gite a Tayrona e piani per cascate. È un posto party-first, soprattutto intorno a giovedì, domenica e altre serate evento più grosse. Il pubblico tende internazionale e sociale, con molta musica elettronica, amicizie facili e un setup un po' festival dove l'ostello può sembrare più un campo estivo per adulti contenuto che una base backpacker tranquilla. Il cibo è una parte importante del setup perché l'ostello è remoto e non c'è cucina condivisa. Il ristorante interno, bakery, pizza bar e cafe possono essere davvero buoni, con pizza e prodotti da forno che spiccano, ma i prezzi sono spesso alti per la zona e il cibo esterno può essere limitato. Camere e comfort sono irregolari. Alcuni letti hanno zanzariere e alcuni dormitori hanno ventilatori o AC, ma caldo, umidità, docce deboli, privacy limitata, dormitori basici e occasionali problemi di pulizia possono trascinare giù il soggiorno. Vieni per caos da fiume, party e densità sociale; scegli altro per sonno, controllo del budget, Wi-Fi affidabile o un feeling calmo da paese costiero colombiano.

- Il Wi-Fi è limitato e può funzionare solo vicino a reception, ristorante o area coworking.
- L'ostello è remoto, non ha cucina condivisa, e cibo o drink in loco possono diventare cari in fretta.
- La musica elettronica può andare avanti fino a tardi e arrivare alle camere, quindi non è una scelta forte per dormire.
- Intossicazioni alimentari sono state un problema ripetuto, quindi fai particolare attenzione coi pasti.
- Alcuni dormitori e camere private possono essere caldi, umidi, basici o mal mantenuti.
- La scena party può includere forte ubriachezza e uso visibile di droghe, e le donne sole potrebbero non sentirsi pienamente a proprio agio.
