Bed bugs. And instead of being helpful and offering a full refund, they tried to place the blame on me saying it came from the mountain bike ride and the bugs can’t survive this altitude (they can). Very unfortunate and I saw no urgency to take care of the issue in the room after I reported it. They didn’t even honor the night off prize we won off of trivia night. The only good part of the hostel were the volunteers. Dishonest management. Just go there for the bar but don’t stay.

My girlfriend's overall review of the hostel was rubbish. This place is good only for partying & getting drunk with strangers. Their rooms and other services are totally unacceptable. My girlfriend paid quite high for the rooms compared to the average price in the area, and the rooms were not clean.. she even got bites from bed bugs!!! And finally, the wifi was super slow in all the areas of the hostel. Utterly annoying service, no value for money, we'll NEVER GO BACK.

Vibe-Analyse
Wild Rover La Paz ist ein kompletter Party-Motor: bar-first, nachts laut, leicht, Trinkbuddys zu treffen, und gebaut um Aktivitäten, Touren, Screens und späte Bewegung. Die privaten Pods und manche Dorm-Betten bekommen echte Punkte für Komfort, und der Ort kann sauber und praktisch sein, wenn die Mission hart sozialisieren und ihn als La-Paz-Launchpad nutzen heißt. Das ist nicht die ruhige Seite der Stadt. Bar und Hof formen den Aufenthalt, mit Musik und spätem Verkehr in Zimmern nahe der Action. Am besten passt es zu jemandem, der eine eingebaute Nightlife-Blase, Tourhilfe und eine junge Crowd mehr will als stille Ecken oder lokale Immersion. Der Tradeoff ist ein kommerzieller Cash-and-Tab-Betrieb. Es kann Spaß machen, verlangt aber Toleranz: Lärm, kalte oder unzuverlässige Duschen, schwaches Zimmer-WLAN und Checkout-Mathe, die einen nüchternen Blick verdient.

- Bar- und Hoflärm kann bis etwa 2 bis 2:30 Uhr laufen, besonders nahe inneren oder barseitigen Dorms.
- Beim Essen gibt es ernsthafte Beschwerden über Krankheit; vor Ort zu essen kann ein Risiko sein.
- Das Wristband-/Tab- und Cash-only-Setup kann Checkout-Streit oder Überraschungsgebühren produzieren.
- Duschen, WLAN und Zimmerkomfort sind inkonsistent, mit kaltem Wasser, dunklen Zimmern und schwachem Zimmer-WLAN, die öfter auftauchen.
