bedbugs and mean staff

we stayed in a 6 person all female room with a private bathroom which was a really nice room, but after the first night we discovered bed bugs and the front desk changed my room but did nothing about the fact that i had to wash all of my clothes and clean everything. the room we were moved to was on the other side of the hall and was definitely not as nice as the previous room and it was honestly like comparing a spa and an insane asylum. the bed bugs were so awful and gross though

We found bugs in our bed and were severely bitten and when we went to the pharmacy they told us they were bed bug bites

Bettwanzen

Initially, we saw a review about bed bugs and were quite nervous upon our arrival. We asked the front desk staff, and they were able to assure us that there were no bed bugs and that other travelers mistook mosquito bites for bed bug bites. Our room got upgraded for free, and the staff were very nice! While about a 30-40 minute walk from Florence city center, the location was quiet and peaceful compared to being located right within the city center. Unfortunately the accommodation isn’t what I hoped it would be. I paid the upgrade for the 6 person female dorm. The common space was nice, but the beds weren’t completely private since they are surrounded by a see through grate. Additionally, the shower was lacking and spilled water all over the entire bathroom which was gross. The nail in the coffin was it had bed bugs. I don’t recommend.

Was ok, far out from the centre. Think me and my friends got bed bugs… I emailed them and nothing has been done.

This place is infested with bed bugs

It is an okay short stay, I believe I had bed bugs in my room as my partner and I woke up with small itchy red bites all over us that did not resemble mosquito bites. Apart from this the stay was fine and I’m sure with the right cleaning solutions this problem can be amended.

BED BUGS BED BUGS!!!! my friend and i stayed here for 2 nights and had over 100 bed bug bites. we notified the staff before we checked out and they told us they checked the beds and there weren’t any when there clearly were. super frustrated with the staff denying everything when i’ve found previous reviews of bedbug bites in the past two weeks. don’t stay here unless you want staff that is rude and not willing to help with anything as well as dozens of bed bug bites.

This was the worst hostel I had throughout my entire trip. Got bed bugs, they gave me a worse room after they moved my bed and broke my storage lock, so far from the city center and not social at all!

Il y avait des punaises de lit. Mon copain s’étant fait piquer. À l’accueil ils m’ont dit que ce n’était pas possible. Or j’ai des photos qui prouve les piqûres.

Attention. Punaises de lit! Mon conjoint et moi nous somme fait piquer! Dommage car l’endroit est vraiment bien..

The first night we stayed in a bedroom that was nice. Clean and had curtains which wasn’t advertised. The next we stayed in the grossest dorm ever. I’ve been in Europe for 70 days and I’ve only been in hostels. This morning I left Florence and I have bed bug bites all over my arm and tummy. I’m pissssssseddddd.

Bathroom very run down and hard to keep clean and dry. Also, no option of communal bathrooms outside of rooms which makes it very hard for 6 people to use the 1 bathroom. Lots of bed bugs and mosquitos.

I got bedbug bites from the bed.

Unfortunately, we were bitten by bed bugs. Please check room 309. Also, internet didn’t work in our room in the evening.

Die Tür zum Zimmer ließ sich nur anlehnen, nicht richtig schließen. Das Badezimmer könnte auch öfter gereinigt werden. Das Unangenehmste aber: Nach meinem Aufenthalt hatte ich überall rote, juckende Punkte am Körper, habe Bettwanzen im Verdacht. Zum Glück habe ich aber nix davon mit nach Hause gebracht. Die Lage ist etwas weit vom Zentrum entfernt, ein Bus fährt aber regelmäßig dort hin. Ich würde nicht noch einmal dort übernachten!

Ci sono andata in gita di 3 media con la mia classe. Esperienza orrenda, lontanissimo dal centro di Firenze, più di mezz'ora a piedi, pulizia inesistente, lenzuola e cuscini sporchi, bagno da far pietà e porte rotte. Quando si apre il rubinetto si sente odore di fogna, la doccia è incrostata ed esce soltanto acqua bollente. La cosa peggiore è stata che molti di noi ragazzi sono stati punti da cimici da letto e altri insetti, di conseguenza più di una decina di ragazzi si sono trovati punture rosse su tutto il corpo. A me qualcosa ha punto sulla palpebra e ho l'occhio gonfissimo. La notte è impossibile dormire per le troppe zanzare, le finestre sono rotte e la notte si muore di freddo (non abbiamo usato le coperte perché erano sporche). L'unica cosa buona era la colazione. Evitate di andarci, pessima esperienza.

Nous avions réservé à cette auberge 5 nuits. Seulement, nous avons du partir plus tôt puisque j'ai attrapé des boutons a cause de punaises de lit qui se trouvaient dans un dortoir. Bien évidemment, nous avons demande un remboursement au vu de mes piqûres sur tout le corps. En premier, un dialogue a été effectué avec le directeur qui m'a exprimé que le remboursement n'était pas possible et qu'il allait m'envoyer la note de désinfection de la chambre. Après avoir échangé avec une autre personne, et en voyant les marques sur tout mon corps, il a décidé de me rembourser une partie de mon séjour.

We contracted bed bugs from room 219!!! We didn’t notice the bites until after the 2nd or 3rd night. Once they fix the bed bug issue the hostel is quite nice. Shared bathroom for a long hall of people, their breakfast was good (loved the hot chocolate), customer service is good.
