Bedbugs. They ate me up. When I checked out and told the girl at reception she pretended to not know and said she had never heard of that before but I am now reading other reviews and I was not the first to go plain about this, so they know.

Everything, except the bugs in the bed which I was not able to see at all in room 9 I was stung the whole night and it was painful

On face value the place looks nice and feels relaxing. However, one of my hostel mates found a bedbug on her bed. Also 2 people kept on taking turns snoring which was super annoying. Good if you are tight on cash but sleep quality might be poor unless you can sleep through snoring.

Good location and hostel looks very nice. But we booked a twin room and there were bed bugs. There is no one staying in front desk, so can’t change the room.

Bed bugs!!!

We arrived there late, and we woke up the day after to find out there were tons of bed bugs in our beds. There wasn’t anyone at reception, so we wrote to the hostel and they were quick to reply and refund us. Nevertheless, the amount of bugs make me feel like they were there for quite some time. Be careful!

Great place, good location too. Staff however needs experience handling out-of-ordinary situations. Unfortunately a roommate found bed bugs on one of the beds during the night, which initially the staff were not around to help with. In the morning the staff did try their best to help the single person out (steam the beds, provide bed in a different room) but this cause a freak out among other room occupants as soon as the news spread. They should have been more proactive about the situation.

BED BUGS I am so mad about it! After i realised the ictyhiness and rushes i was trying to understand what it can be. I realised it can be bed bugs and i got suspicious abiut my stay there And i started to read the comments about the hostel. And there ! There are other guests that was complaining about it! I m so mad that why they didnt do anything about it before! So disappointed!

I booked this place thinking I would save some money since I was only staying for two nights and just needed somewhere to sleep. I chose it mainly for the central location. I honestly cannot believe I am writing this. For the first time in my life, I experienced bedbugs here. I had never dealt with this before, and it has been a shock. My entire body is now covered in bites – large, swollen, extremely itchy welts. It’s uncomfortable, stressful, and frankly disgusting. I regret trying to save money. Whatever you think you’re saving is absolutely not worth the physical discomfort and the anxiety of dealing with this afterwards. For reference, I stayed in Room 8 (female dorm). I have stayed in very basic accommodations in much poorer countries and never encountered anything like this. This was by far my worst experience.

Leider habe ich Bettwanzen mitgenommen. Die Rezeption war äußerst selten besetzt, da die Rezeptionistin gleichzeitig auch die Zimmer geputzt hat.

They have bed bugs and when I told them they didn't do anything about it other than have a look and say didn't find any. Avoid.

I got bit by bed bugs. Other than that, it was a great location. The rooms also had great sound proofing. Couldn’t hear anything in the lobby. Bathrooms were small though. Staff was super nice and helpful

I was bitten in several places in my bed. I'm really afraid it was bedbugs, though I didn't see any traces on the linen. I woke up from the bites at 3 a.m. and couldn't get any sleep. It's good that I only stayed one night and had to leave at 5:30, but I had to treat all my things afterwards just in case.

Unfortunately my bottom bed in room 6 for 8 people was infested with bed bugs, only one other bed was occupied so I didn't get a chance to check if others were affected. I noticed the red bites after the first night but hoped it was some kind of skin reaction to alcohol or food, however on the second night I caught 3 bed bugs. Hope it gets sorted out, don't ignore the signs like I did :(

1. Very severe bedbug issue in dormitory. I have never encountered this before so initially i thought it was just dry skin allergy. Later symptoms started to show up on the following days (20+ bites). Had killed 5 bugs the morning i decided to move out early and stay somewhere else. Had a pleasant stay at this hostel a few years ago so I rebooked it this time. But this time very disappointing. Symptoms still affecting me even I've returned home already. 2. No staff on site after 5pm. There were 2 nights with a big group travelling together (there were 10+ of them staying at different rooms). They practically ignored all house rules and treated lounge as it's their home and being very noisy till late. No staff to turn to. Overall very disappointing experience this time

As of the end of November they have a bed bug infestation. I noticed it after the first night, and was allowed to switch beds (not rooms though). They "treated" the room. In the second night I found and killed 5 bed bugs, all in various life stages (from tiny to adult size). I understand that it's not the hostels fault for having bed bugs but I don't think they treated the problem as serious as it was. They didn't close down the room to deal with the problem so it's just gonna get worse. There were two other people in different corners of the room to also see bed bugs. We at least got a refund. If they can deal with the infestation then I can recommend the hostel.

A cama tinha bed bugs, sai de lá com vários machucados por conta disso e havia outros hóspedes reclamando. A atmosfera do lugar é muito estranha, não há funcionários, a área de convivência é de um silêncio estranho, não havendo nenhuma música ambiente e nenhum tipo de interação.

There was a bed bug and I was bitten all over. After I talked to the staff about it they seem to have arranged a pest control treatment. The action was swift and appreciated, but even after that I saw bedbugs at night at might bed. I had to change accommodation halfway my stay. I talked to them about it on their WhatsApp (shown as contact at the reception but no response).

toilets does not have bidet and i found one bed bug in sofa in the living area.

I got bed bugs from this hostel. Other than that, the location if pretty central and you can reach most places on foot.

Firstly, I had to sleep outside in the living room because I got bit by bedbugs as soon as I fell asleep. Needless to say It was not a good night sleep and I had to deal with the aftermath of the bedbug bites for days, very unpleasant. I wasn't offered any solutions, just had a 'sorry' They should make sure all beds are hoovered daily when someone checks out. Not a pleasant experience

I stayed in Room 5. The room was dusty, and the carpet clearly hadn't seen a vacuum cleaner in a while. The air conditioning was broken, and the window couldn’t be opened to let in fresh air. I saw a bedbug running across the floor!:(
