The Drift Backpackers Hostel

Cleanliness is okay but I heard someone complain about a bed bugs while I stay there. There are better places to stay in Hanoi. This hostel is overrated.

The hostel is in a good location and they do have nice free breakfast. However they don't change the fluffy blanket you get. That's incredibly gross and I don't know how they don't have a bedbug problem yet.

beautiful location. booked over christmas but there was no social vibe at all. very clicky. there's definitely an issue with their booking system. i paid extra for 8 bed dorm but was put in 12 bed dorm.i was moved to an 8 bed dorm and told to go to bed 2. but bed 2 was occupied. then had bed bugs!!! frustrating. there is a whatsapp group but i was part of it for over a week and not one message was sent. not worth the price.

This hostel gave me bed bugs! There is a musky smell in the rooms, which is an indicator of bed bugs.. The rooms are super cold & the blankets do not have a cover over them- this means they are not washed.. The location is ideal though
