Solana has a wonderful atmosphere and the staff was so welcoming but I did encounter bedbugs during my stay. I told the workers immediately and they were very concerned and said that they were going to take action right away. I’m hoping they’re dealing with the issue but do be aware of that if you are considering a stay here. With that being said, this is such a unique hostel and I wish them the best.

Initially, this hostel seemed lovely. Lots of cool people, amazing location and activities. However, unfortunately during our stay we found bed bugs through out all the beds in our room. To make matters worse, we found out later from another guest that people had been bitten and reported the bed bugs just 2 nights before so the staff knowingly put us into a bedroom with active infestation and no warning. When we left early in the morning, we were accused of “sneaking out” to avoid being seen.

This place is full of bed bugs, we left and we were full of spot very itching everywere. That's the mainly problems of this place. They knew it and didn't say or do anything. The rest was ok, the People are nice and the place is beautiful.

Solana de Granada es un pequeño albergue de estilo casero construido alrededor de la escalada y las montañas. El acantilado está justo detrás, y el lugar también ofrece clases de escalada, bouldering, senderismo, yoga y paseos al atardecer. Un jardín, terrazas y una piscina hacen que el aire libre sea más agradable. El ambiente es tranquilo, amistoso y social sin sentirse como un lugar de fiesta. Cocinar juntos, un salón junto al fuego y una conversación fácil le dan una sensación de hogar, mientras que el entorno permanece tranquilo y escondido sobre Granada. El autobús hace que la ciudad sea accesible, pero la ubicación en la ladera significa que la planificación alrededor de los horarios ayuda. Funciona mejor para estancias de escalada enfocadas en la naturaleza. Algunas habitaciones parecen sencillas, y la cocina o los baños pueden estar ocupados en las horas pico. Algunas visitas también presentaron chinches o piojos, por lo que vale la pena comprobar las condiciones actuales de la habitación antes de reservar.
