   • When I entered my shared room there was a drunk elderly man on the floor who screamed at me when I turned on the light, booze rolling around him and stuff, there were more drunk men in the common area in front, definitely unsafe for women.

   The photos on maps don’t really reflect the reality of the state of the hostel, they are only showing a few good rooms. 5 minutes in it was clear that we aren’t staying there under any circumstances. When I entered my shared room there was a drunk elderly man on the floor who screamed at me when I turned on the light, booze rolling around him and stuff, there were more drunk men in the common area in front, definitely unsafe for women. The toilets/bathroom and kitchen were not just dirty but filthy and unhygienic. Yes its cheap bit it not worth all the risks that are hidden.

   when we get to the room, the lock is not working - anyone can walk into our room! We leave our things in the lockers, put some things in our beds. When we’re back, the lock is fixed, BUT there is a random man sleeping in our friend’s bed, the hostel double booked her bed! His confirmation email said to just take another bed, but there were none left. Reception was closed and on one answered any calls. Everything was also nasty, and the breakfast was awful, no dishes and food gone by 9:30!!!!!!!!

   Definitely wrong choice . Our things stolen and anyone called us for sorry , they said """ its often happening here""" . It's a place where thieves hide and the facility makes it seem normal. Everywhere is filthy, the toilets and showers are filthy. The kitchen is filthy. Our money was wasted.

   I enjoyed people cooking in the kitchen. Bucharest doesn't have great restaurants at the budget end. Clean. One or two strange local guests and the spectre of gang that won't show itself, but not from staff. Theft of my food in the fridge. Romanians lived with betrayal under dictators for too long and the legacy means they don't offer information. The hostel is honest.

   Run down pictures don’t reflect this, no security of passport checks, guests were puking in the bathroom odd lay out never met any staff member they only communicated via WhatsApp no one showed me around. Unhygienic loud drunk or drugged guest trashed the tv and door. Loud all night so the POLICE showed up not a safe place for a woman travelling alone and not great communication from the staff members until I left a review then they troll me from two different numbers. Then they get abusive and lose any sense of professionalism. Avoid!

   I had a very disappointing experience at this hostel. I booked two beds in a 4-bed shared room, but upon arrival, my partner and I were placed in a room with more people instead. To make things worse, the beds assigned to us were already occupied, leaving us without the accommodations we had reserved and paid for. When we complained to the host, they told us that the room we had booked was under maintenance and that they had decided to move us without even informing or asking us. Frustrated and unhappy with the situation, we decided to leave the hostel, but the host refused to give us a refund, despite the fact that they failed to provide what we had booked. The lack of organization and disregard for guests' reservations was unacceptable.    We stayed here in a big group of 12 last week. First impression of the hostel was good. Bathrooms are clean and room was decent (half the beds were on the floor though) However we encountered some experiences that are just not okay. In one of the rooms of 6 females, it was just the 6 of us in the room. We didn’t expect anyone else to enter. In the middle of the night a male staff member came into our locked room to lock away a computer and backpack, and took several questions before telling us he was staff not a guest. Another male staff member one night came in and out at least 6 times for a locker. He locked a phone in our room, which again was just us 6, which rang loudly several times in the night and we could not turn it off as they had taken the key. One of the walls in our room was completely hollow and damp. One of us lent against the wall before bed and it broke in, yet the staff are claiming we had a “party” and broke the wall. This is not true. We had a few drinks in our room one night, the other times were outside the front of the hostel. Staff are also claiming they came into our room to “check on us” after hearing “loud noises” from our room. This is simply not true, we were all asleep or going to sleep when the first time the man came in by typing out room code. We also spoke to a solo female traveller who said staff had done the same to her in her all female dorm and frightened her. We were not told someone was coming to fix the wall, and in the process they broke one of our headphones. Overall, the staff were rude, and we felt generally unsafe in this hostel. Had we not been in such a large group I would’ve been even more scared. Would not recommend to any other travellers, particularly female travellers. The response to our previous review also shows the nature of these staff members. Unfriendly and unwelcoming.

   • when staff broke an expensive belonging of one of our group they refused to pay any compensation and then threw the wall situation back in our face which then escalated the situation further.
   • as soon as we arrived there was another person staying in the room we had booked and had to get them removed.

   i stayed here last week with a group of friends. as soon as we arrived there was another person staying in the room we had booked and had to get them removed. other than that, everything was fine and the staff member was pleasant. however, the second half of our group stayed in the second half of the hostel and had an experience that could only be described as unacceptable: the walls of their room were poorly built, hollow and damp. the walls were so terrible the plaster was peeling off and were so unstable it ended up breaking. when staff were told about this happening they were understanding and did not charge us for damages as it was not our fault. however, when staff broke an expensive belonging of one of our group they refused to pay any compensation and then threw the wall situation back in our face which then escalated the situation further. as well as this, one member of staff entered the room in the middle of the night while all 6 girls were sleeping and retrieved his personal belongings from one of the lockers in the room. another member of staff, again, continuously entered the room over and over again on his own accord through one evening and also used the lockers we had payed for at his own leisure. this made our group feel very unsafe. he also left his phone in the locked locker when he went home which rang repeatedly throughout the night which did not allow the 6 girls to sleep. yes, this place is good value for money and is in a good location but the experiences we had here were horrendous and unsafe. we would not stay here again and would not recommend to any other travellers.

    Staff was nice. Location is good. Price is good. Beds are comfortable. But the kitchen is very dirty, bathroom is not very clean either. Not a very "social" hostel. And someone stole my food from the fridge not once, but twice, and the staff/manager did nothing about if. That's a shame.

    Hi the toilette was not clean .toilette paper missing. The locker code to open the door was not working at 1 am night Missing furniture in the kitchen and everything was lack of clean. Receptionists were nice and polite but not able to provide technical things

    People sleep on random beds. My bed was occupied when I’m here, and they asked me to sleep on a free bed. Although all the beds are occupied. People came in the room at 2:30 am and found there’s someone sleeping on their bed. You can’t sleep at all with all the noises and complaints after 3 am. People outside were talking loudly and no one stop them. Staff came in and turned on the light at 1 am, checking who slept here without paying. That’s ridiculous. Sad experience.
