Reseña completaWouldn’t recommend for solo traveling women. Many instances of drunk host and others overstepping boundaries with the female guest. The hostel itself is in great location right next to food, beaches and clubs and while I did enjoy the host hospitality (being a man) I seen it come off wrong towards multiple women during my stay. No locks on doors so anyone can go anywhere in the house. The balcony where everyone parties requires to walk through a 6 bed dorm also with people possibly sleeping.

The manager made especially the female guests conformable, even kissing one of them on the cheek making her uncomfortable. Location is good but not the best stay and not the social hostel advertised.

Reseña completaDuring our stay at this hostel, we experienced very unpleasant and unacceptable situations. The hostel owner/manager (I am not sure of his exact role) was almost always drunk. He would randomly move guests from one bed to another room as he wished, without asking anyone. On one occasion, when a female guest was not in the room, he touched and moved her belongings without permission. When she confronted him about it, his response was extremely disrespectful and inappropriate — he said, “I can do whatever I want with your things, I stole your underwear.” This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable. Although I stayed in the same room, my roommates were forced several times to change rooms without any valid reason. Also, when I asked for a blanket (since the air conditioning made the room very cold at night), he rudely refused, saying “It’s summer, why do you need a blanket?” These actions made us feel neither comfortable nor safe during our stay. However, I want to mention that the other staff members were very kind and helpful, and we appreciated their efforts. Unfortunately, the behavior of the owner/manager ruined the overall experience. I cannot recommend this hostel and hope that these issues will be taken seriously.

Brothers Of The World es un hostel pequeño de Ksamil con un setup muy central: playas, restaurantes, supermercados y la parada de bus a Sarande están todos cerca. La versión más fuerte de este lugar es simple y personal: dormitorios limpios, camas cómodas, aire acondicionado en algunas habitaciones, balcones o terraza, y un anfitrión que puede estar muy presente con tips de playa, comida y vida nocturna. La vida de terraza y balcón es lo que más destaca. Hay grandes vistas sobre Ksamil, potencial de amanecer o atardecer en la azotea y espacio exterior que le da al hostel más personalidad que una simple parada de dormitorio. El lado social puede pegar bien cuando el jardín, la mesa de ping pong, la mesa de desayuno compartida o las noches de barbacoa están activos. En momentos más tranquilos puede sentirse más como alojamiento tipo apartamento que como hostel mochilero movido, así que no es una máquina de fiesta garantizada. Las instalaciones son básicas. El desayuno puede ser simple, no hay cocina completa para cocinar de verdad y el setup de baños puede sentirse apretado o rudo. La advertencia mayor son los límites del staff: este lugar tiene personalidad partida, con hospitalidad cálida por un lado e incomodidad seria alrededor del manager por el otro, especialmente para mujeres viajando solas.
