   • During check-out, an older female staff member — whose name I do not know, and who may have been part of reception or housekeeping — treated us in a very aggressive and disrespectful manner. She entered our room with a hostile attitude to force us out, even though we were already ready to check out and only needed to take our suitcases downstairs. This behavior did not happen just once; the harassment continued until we finally left the hostel.

   When we arrived at the hostel, there was no running water. However, as we were on vacation and tried to remain understanding, we did not make an issue of it and used another bathroom in the area. Unfortunately, that good attitude was only on our side. I strongly believe you should review who you have working in hospitality roles, as politeness, respect, and good customer service are essential in this industry. During check-out, an older female staff member — whose name I do not know, and who may have been part of reception or housekeeping — treated us in a very aggressive and disrespectful manner. She entered our room with a hostile attitude to force us out, even though we were already ready to check out and only needed to take our suitcases downstairs. This behavior did not happen just once; the harassment continued until we finally left the hostel. I was genuinely shocked by the level of aggression, including her body language. This situation completely overshadowed all the positive aspects the hostel may have had. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that you review the performance of your customer service staff, so future guests do not have to go through a similar experience.

   • someone walked into our locked room our first morning there- so the locks are very weak.

   The vibe of the current long-term residents is very odd and not welcoming at all. It is very far away from the areas you want to be in as a backpacker in my opinion. There are no lockers and someone walked into our locked room our first morning there- so the locks are very weak. Additionally the WIFI does NOT reach the bedrooms. The showers are nice though.
