A terrible place—stay far away! This is the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. The room was incredibly dirty: there was dust, trash, and various stains on the floor. But the worst part was the bedbugs. I was badly bitten on the very first night. When I turned on the light, I saw the insects right there on the mattress. Management completely ignored my complaints; they refused to issue a refund and didn't even apologize. It is completely unsanitary, and the staff is totally indifferent. Protect your health and steer clear of this wretched place!

The location was good Danger warning. Extreme infestation of Bed bugs. My wife got over 200 bites on her body and needed medical attention. Do not stay here under any circumstances regardless of the cheap price if you value your health. Initially the room looked ok but because bed bugs are nocturnal and only feed between midnight and 4 am the worst horrors of other reviews was realised. Upon turning on the light at 3 am we discovered the bed crawling with a colossal amount of bedbugs. On the bedsheets, under the mattress, in the bed framing, on the wall and even inside the pillows. I worked for UN as a pilot for 20 years mostly in Africa and I have never seen or heard of such an extreme infestation of bedbugs. Not even in Africa. If you value your health don't even consider staying here no matter how much you seek affordable accommodation. You will regret it . The hostel operator totally ignored the many reports about this problem and obviously has no interest to rectify the situation. I will file a report with the Budapest hotel license issuing department and also with the Budapest department of health. I did not like anything about the property, I feel that they stole from me because they rented a place to me which was in an unhealthy condition and triggered my health problems. I am so disappointed and will never forgive them. They were so mean to me, unclean environment, dirty clothes, bedbugs is everywhere and stink chairs

The facility is great and clean. It's very close to the major road making it easier for guests to get to the bus/Tram station. The owner/manager is terrible. The person NEVER PICKS THEIR CALL NOR REPLY SMS/EMAIL. If you need any form of assistance, there's no one to reach out to. The whole place is FULL OF BEDBUGS: one ALL THE BEDS, on the floor and in the locker. Once you lodge there, just know that you are taking bedbugs back to your house. I took pictures of them (which I'm going to attach here) and sent to the manager of the apartment. I sent them as SMS as well as email but got ignored. On the train, bedbugs are crawling all over my bag and it was a stranger that even saw them. What an embarrassment! My whole body is scratchy because of the constant biting of the bedbugs 😢

Location Beds are full of bedbugs 😔

Lit infesté de dizaines de punaises de lit. Problème dans toute l'auberge après avoir discuté avec d'autres voyageurs. Lit qui grince, avec oreiller et couverture très vieillissante Pi Absence de climatisation. Auberge située juste au-dessus d'un bar très très bruyant et fréquenté. Douche cassée, toilette dégueulasse

Nothing, worst experience of my life The beds are infected by bed bugs. I was completely bitten, I couldn't stay in my bed. I had to wait in the corridor and had no sleep. Disgusting, this is outrageous! And as the first night of my trip, I am now stressed to have bugs in my bag. Nobody answer my email. The hostel should be closed down

The location was nice. There are a lot of bedbugs everywhere! In the chill area. In the room. Everywhere!! Not even one. Hundreds!

I liked the overall vibe- very lowkey/ not a party hostel, the bed was comfortable and room was spacious. Instructions to get to the property and inside the room were easy and lax. Unfortunately, there were bed bugs. The host gave a brief and easy apology but once I mentioned reimbursement to assistance with the cost of local laundry service to avoid spreading the infestation, I was left on delivered.

Bed bugs. The owner doesn't care, don't stay there

The other people in the hostel were nice BED BUGS! Do NOT come to this place no matter what, we all got absolutely covered in them. There was no reception so checking in took very long and the address given for the place isn't even the right one. No phone number to call or any email.

Bed bugs! I ignored the other reviews about bed bugs because they were from last year. I found 2 fully grown bed bugs and a lot of tiny baby bed bugs crawling around. They get into your clothes and bags. When you get home your whole home gets infested. This is serious and not a joke. I stripped down outside and left all my stuff outside the home and still somehow the bed bugs managed to get inside. I am really pissed now because now I have to deal with that too!

I left with over 100 bed bugs bites, ruin my entire trip

The goal of my trip was to go to concert and I booked the room 2 days before it, so it was very last minute and I needed to stick to a budget. Keep that in mind as I rate things (I’d rate stuff lower but my stay was short and I had a roof over my head for the night and that was the point). + Located in the wider city center and there was a direct bus connection to MVM Dome & easy to make it Déli pályaudvar, too. + We had a room of our own even if it was a hostel. + It wasn’t as noisy, even though there were few establishments right under our window and our room was the very fist one right next to the hostel entrance. + Thankfully, no bedbugs in our double room and the mattress didn’t look old. + We were given toilet paper and towels (although we used our own towels bc of the bedbug scare from other reviews). - The keyboxes had the same passcode which I felt is unsafe. (I know this bc i helped unlock some girls’ boxes when they arrived and were struggling to pull it open). - The floor in our room looked like it hasn’t been mopped in forever. Same in the showers. - No ventilation in the bathroom, so it smelled and there were hairs everywhere. - The plugs looked unsafe to use and were poorly placed in the room. - The overall layout of the room. We could barely move around without bumping into the clothes rack or each other. Also could use at least a chair or a smaller piece of furniture to put and lock our important things in. - The mattress was uneven and not very comfortable to sleep on.

La primera noche encontramos chinches y al momento contactamos con el alojamiento, nos mandaron literalmente una conversación con chat gpt en la cual decía que no eran peligrosa. Después de ello no nos pusieron ninguna solución y tuvimos que ser nosotros quienes limpiaran la habitación de las chinches, era muy antihigiénico.

Nulla fa schifo c’erano le pulci nel letto si vedeva chiaramente che il letto non non era stato cambiato c’erano ancora i capelli delle persone che avevano dormito precedentemente lì, l’hostess non risponde mai e le persone che stanno in quell’ostello non sono affidabili almeno quando ci eravamo noi, non ve lo consiglio per niente, hanno cercato di stuprare mia sorella non dico altro non andate in questo posto Non c’è igiene, non c’è organizzazione , l’ hostes non risponde mai non è presente e non aiuta, c’erano le cimici da letto dentro il materasso e si vedeva chiaramente che non avevano cambiato i lenzuoli e che c’erano ancora i capelli delle persone che avevano dormito lì prima di me

There was nothing good and no positive emotions. I couldn't sleep in my bed; my bed was taken, and I couldn't sleep in the free bed either because there were bedbugs. I had to sleep in the hallway fully clothed. Did I get enough sleep? I couldn't sleep. Hostel support isn't responding to my messages or calls, and no one wanted to solve the problem. My night and my health were ruined. I was bitten, and I hope I didn't get infected. Accommodation like this shouldn't be listed. It violates all sanitary regulations. I will continue to complain and write to get this problem resolved and my money returned.
