My experience was negatively impacted due to bed bugs that bit one side of my body. I showed these to the folks at reception who told me I was mistaken that 100+ red bite marks were mosquito related. Didn't appreciate that at all!

I can't recommend it. Someone went to our room twice during the same day when we were out of the room and they left the lock open. A hundred dollars was stolen from my wallet. That was on our second day and we had booked 8 nights... so that was it what comes to the feeling of being safe, appreciated, welcome and respected. The manager offered us some upgrades as a compensation but this really felt so bad and partly ruined my trip. It was a disgusting thing to do! Pros: - nice pool area and a bar with food and drinks with good prices - free transport from the airport and to the falls - delicious mangos everywhere - manager offered some compensation after the theft Cons: - spiders, mosquitos and lizards in the room. - we got bitten, probably bedbugs - rooms are not safe - the attitude of the staff is not purely heavenly customer service

El pickup gratis del aeropuerto y el shuttle matutino a Victoria Falls son la jugada practica de poder en Jollyboys Backpackers. Hace que Livingstone se sienta mas facil desde el primer dia, con las cataratas, el centro, supermercado, museo y viajes de dia cruzando fronteras dentro de una orbita bastante manejable. Este es un hostel social y cargado de actividades, con piscina, bar, restaurante, grandes zonas chill y un calendario constante de cosas como beer pong, noche de braai, cena gratis, paint and sip y eventos nocturnos. La recepcion puede ayudar a cuadrar clasicos alrededor de Victoria Falls y mas alla: caminatas con rinocerontes, viajes a Chobe, cruceros por el Zambezi, rafting, bungee jumping, cabalgatas, safaris, kayak y rutas hacia Zimbabwe, Botswana o Namibia. Las habitaciones y banos suelen estar limpios y comodos, con AC en muchas habitaciones y duchas solidas en los mejores setups. La vibra va relajada de dia y mas viva de noche, con suficientes rincones para descansar, cocinar, refrescarse en la piscina o encontrar tu crew viajera sin convertir todo el lugar en una sola maquina gigante de fiesta.
Señales a revisar
- El Wi-Fi puede ser irregular y suele funcionar mejor en zonas comunes, no en dormitorios o habitaciones mas alejadas.
- La comida puede demorarse, y pagos en bar o restaurante pueden ser solo en efectivo.
- La cocina es util pero puede sentirse vieja, basica o poco equipada cuando el hostel esta lleno.
- El ruido puede ser un problema alrededor del bar o en noches de eventos, especialmente para quienes duermen temprano.
- Mosquitos, mosquiteros faltantes, ropa de cama gastada y mantenimiento irregular aparecen en suficientes habitaciones como para revisar antes de instalarse.
- Algunas habitaciones privadas y extensiones directas pueden sentirse caras comparadas con otras opciones de Livingstone.
