Hanoi Ecostay 2 Hostel

Avoid this hotel. The room was dirty on arrival, with visibly unclean bedding and pillows that smelled so bad we couldn’t sleep on them. Towels were stained and clearly not fresh. There was no hot water at any point during the stay, and staff showed little interest in fixing it or even apologizing. To make things worse, I left covered in bites! I don’t know whether it was bed bugs or ants, but something was clearly crawling in that room. Service was dismissive and unprofessional from start to finish. This place fails on basic hygiene and comfort. Stay elsewhere.

This place is absolutely disgusting. Do not stay here !!!! We arrived at 11 and were laying in bed when we saw multiple bed bugs in the sheets and blankets. The receptionist did not care and was hesitant to give us a refund. Nothing about this place is good save your time and money.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Beds are riddled with bed bugs, we luckily spotted them before we went to sleep and found alternative accommodation.

THe cheapest hostel I could find in hanoi, it is situated directly next to the most active street for night life, so if you want to go out and hang out at the bars, it is the perfect hostel. The staff was nice and spoke a relatively good english, the place was clean and curtain allowed some privacy even in the dorms. In addition lockers were given to store my belongings. The only issue I have, is that when I checked out, I encountered another patrons who was here to complain about bed bugs. I didn't saw any bugs myself, but given he had brought a crushed specimen to prove his point, I tend to believe him. Given the proximity to hanoi busiest street at night, the place can also be a bit noisy.

The rooms were a bit dirty, killed some bugs in the bed and the bathroom. It could use some renovations.

Good comfortable hostel with a cozy rooftop and wide beds. The workers are very friendly and helpful. But lice and bedbugs are still there.
