Mijn verblijf was ronduit verschrikkelijk. In de kamer trof ik bedwantsen aan. Het zat zelfs in de gordijnen! Dit is absoluut onacceptabel en wijst op een ernstig gebrek aan hygiëne en onderhoud. Ik heb meteen melding gemaakt bij de receptie, maar er werd nauwelijks actie ondernomen. Na de tweede keer het melden gaven ze mij de bevestiging dat het bedwantsen waren. Het heeft mijn hele verblijf verpest en ik ben eerder vertrokken dan gepland. Absoluut geen aanrader en ik raad iedereen aan dit hostel te vermijden totdat ze hun schoonmaak serieus gaan nemen. Ze gaven uit eindelijk na het vragen nog een spray mee waarmee ik mijn koffer kon inspuiten. Ze waren nog wel zo netjes om mij naar een ander hostel te verwijzen.

It was a nice hostel stay with a very different party vibe to the ones we have been to before! There is always events on, so very social. However, no locks on the dorm rooms and I had bed bugs :(

Weet niet waar deze 2 voor staat, maar beter was het een 0. Misschien voor de locatie ja, maar wat een vreselijk hostel verder. Je kunt hier niet slapen tenzij je jezelf naar de gallemiezen drinkt, dan heb je geen last van de herrie, gorigheid en (naar horen zeggen) bedbugs. Raad het niemand aan.

This was my first hostel experience and was staying here for 3 nights and it was perfect until on the last night the managers/owners were screaming at customers and it’s own volunteers right in their faces and I witnessed a staff member threatening a volunteer their job if they didn’t go to bed when they were having a conversation in the toilet. When my boyfriend said something about it being unprofessional and that it will make people not want to stay he said “well maybe I have no guest for 2 weeks but after that I’ll have guests.” Not the right attitude to have. He also proceeded to show him bite marks where he said that they spray the beds every 2 weeks and today we have been to the pharmacy to ask about the bites and they are bed bug bites. He also messaged the group WhatsApp everyone joins when staying to address what happened and mention the bed bugs and the message was deleted and avoided which is unprofessional.

BED BUGS We stayed for 3 nights so this is tough first 2 nights seemed okay atmosphere good rooms on the surface are quite nice On the 2nd night at 4am our AC went off and in an 8 bed dorm you can imagine it got pretty hot pretty quick one of the lights also turned on. Everything is automatic so someone must of came in drunk and messed with the timers On our last night the hostel had arranged a club night at a cost of 80RM they took us to a decent looking club but the music was terrible however this is

EZ Social Hostel Georgetown è costruito per il tipo di viaggio da unisciti-al-tavolo: attività quotidiane, cene di gruppo, pub crawl, giochi al bar e flusso WhatsApp rendono facile infilarsi in una crew in fretta. La posizione è centrale a Georgetown, vicino a Love Lane, street food, minimarket, bus, mall e zona old town da girare a piedi. La sala cinema è un vero standout: un grande divano con proiettore per serate film, serie e downtime alla Mario Kart quando il cervello da bar ha bisogno di reboot. Ci sono anche terrazza rooftop, bar interno, colazione gratuita, acqua potabile, asciugamani, armadietti, accesso key-card e lavanderia forse disponibile. Il comfort nei dorm può essere migliore della media da party hostel, con letti comodi, due cuscini, spazio di stivaggio e camere pulite quando il posto gira bene. L'area solo femminile ha bagni separati e accesso key-card, cosa che dà a quella parte dell'edificio un feeling più privato. Resta comunque un ostello party-first. Bar e attività di solito dettano il ritmo, con musica, drinking game e movimenti di gruppo notturni che modellano il soggiorno più della modalità recupero tranquillo.

- È un ostello rumoroso, sociale e molto centrato sul bere; dormire prima di mezzanotte può essere difficile, soprattutto vicino o sotto il bar.
- Attività e drink possono sembrare costosi, e gli eventi a pagamento possono sommarsi in fretta.
- I letti alti possono non avere tende, e la privacy varia in base al letto.
- Il rumore può continuare con gruppi di ritorno dai pub crawl, pavimenti scricchiolanti, suoni dalla strada e chiamate della moschea al mattino presto.
- Il servizio è incostante, con lamentele serie su gestione scortese, cattiva gestione dei problemi e problemi di prenotazione all'ultimo minuto.
- Pulizia e manutenzione sono irregolari: bagni, aria condizionata, perdite, zone polverose, infestanti e problemi di biancheria sono stati tutti segnalati.
