One of the cleanest hostels I have ever stayed in & very open minded with gender neutral bathrooms & environmentally friendly policies. The only issue we had was bed bugs, we ended up sleeping on the floor in a room crawling with bugs because there were no spare beds. Other rooms were infected and one man slept in the kitchen 2 night in a row. We left covered in bites with no discount/refund or apology. We had to disinfect our bags ourselves. The customer service could definitely be improved.

This hostel is amazing. Cleanliness, atmosphere, facilities, everything. But there was a massive bed bug problem, and normally I wouldn’t leave that in the review but they were found in at least three rooms while we were there and the staff were not serious about it and acted annoyed when we wanted to dry all of our stuff

Falling Lakes Hostel è una base pulita e ben curata per visitare i laghi di Plitvice. Le camere sono spaziose, i letti sono comodi, e i bagni e gli spazi comuni sono generalmente in buone condizioni. C'è una cucina completa, un buon deposito e abbastanza spazio per cucinare e rilassarsi. L'ostello ha un programma di attività molto impegnativo: escursioni, kayak, curiosità, serate di giochi, osservazione delle stelle, cene di gruppo e gite in luoghi vicini come il parco nazionale e la base aerea abbandonata. Una navetta per Plitvice rende le gite di un giorno facili, e il personale è disponibile, accogliente e ricco di consigli locali. Si adatta bene se vuoi un posto sociale senza una festa. Le aree comuni possono essere vivaci e alcune stanze vicine possono essere rumorose di notte. Alcune stanze non hanno tende sui letti o sulle finestre, quindi il controllo della luce può essere un problema.
