My absolute non-negotiable for hostels in bedbugs. I had just gotten done making my bed when the girl next to me started talking and showed me that she had been getting absolutely eaten ALIVE by bedbugs & her attempts at going to staff were met with complete denial and refusal to help. Also, while I had no problem getting switched to an all-girl dorm after booking wrong (I’m white), however I later over overheard 3 hijabi girls were told they could not switch as it was against policy. Left quick

I didn't expect anything from A&O I already knew i couldn't but "only 1 night" anyway dissapointed I arrived at 5am and I asked to pay one extra night to can rest and they said they were full (lie) i understood and stayed in the lobby and i fell asleep after 15 hours traveling, and they woke me up shouting and they told i couldn't sleep there. Wtf?! They said they'd try to let me check in earlier, they didn't and when i woke up at 5am next day to take my flight i found a bed bug on my pillow!

Havia chinches en la habitación y cuando llegamos la habitación seguia sucia con las sabanas de los anteriores huespedes, nos hicieron esperar otra hora mas y eso que ya eran mas de las 15:00. Las camas bastante incomodas y los cojines son horribles,

Wir hatten 2 Kinder im Alter von 5 und 6 Jahren dabei. Sie schliefen in einem Hochbeet. Am Morgen hatten die Kinder einen Ausschlag (ausgesehen wie Bettwanzen) obwohl wir die Betten selbst mit frischer Bettwäsche bezogen haben. Sie wurden am Abend geduscht. Es muss etwas in den Matratzen gewesen sein. Es war außerdem sehr warm, da man das Fenster nur kippen und nicht öffnen konnte.
