This is bad hostel! There is bed bug in the room and I was bitted multiple times during stay. Also toilet and kitchen and all communal areas are very dirty and facilities are broken. It’s a bad experience with ithus hostel and believe me don’t try.

Room was extremely dirty. Found weed hidden between the mattress and bed frame. Ended up finding a bedbug and decided to leave. Staff members were unfriendly and unhelpful in dealing with the bugs and bad mouthed us to each other while we were still there. Would not recommend.

This is a very cheap hostel and you pay for what you get. I woke up at 4:45 in the morning to a man sitting on the couch across from my bed watching me sleeping. Got lots of bites from bed bugs. Air conditioner in the room does not work so must sleep with open windows with a busy loud street below. If cheap is all that matters, like it does for me, this is still not worth it. Splurge and spend and extra 3 or 4 euro more on a nicer place.

BED BUGS EVERYWHERE ! (And cockroaches) ! Even if they spray your room they won’t disappear! Horrible experience. Avoid at all cost!

Worst place I ever stayed in. They have BEDBUGS and don't even bother to do anything about it. Stuff gets stolen,and it is not safe in the Hostel nor in the streets around the Hostel. It is not worth to ruin your stay at the city like that

tarting from 5 stars out of 5, now adding/deducting points: + friendly staff (6) - unsafe neighborhood (5) + super cool wooden horizontal lockers (6) --- no blankets, just a thin sheet. Nights were cold (3) + kitchen with electric stove and utensils (4) - no wifi in room (for 1st floor, 6th floor okayish signal) (3) + roof terrace for the evening (4) -- private room had bedbugs, dorm was OK (2) + a locker for after checking out (3) + laundry machine (4) - no space near bed to put things down (3)

L'Acropolis View Dream Hostel è una base di Atene molto economica e ruvida vicino alla ferrovia e alla metropolitana di Larissis. I vantaggi pratici sono il prezzo, l'accesso ai trasporti, grandi armadietti in alcune parti dell'edificio, Wi-Fi funzionale in alcune parti dell'edificio e una terrazza sul tetto con vista lontana sull'Acropoli. La terrazza sul tetto è la più evidente: può trasformare un sonno a nudo in un luogo per il caffè, le foto e le chiacchiere casuali, specialmente la sera. La folla può sentirsi più a lungo termine e alternativa rispetto al classico backpacker, con un mix di residenti a breve, medio e lungo termine piuttosto che una scena turistica-ostello lucida. Questo non e' un atterraggio morbido. La pulizia è un problema serio, compresi i bagni, le cucine, i letti, i pavimenti, gli insetti, le cimici e gli scarafaggi. Le strutture possono essere vecchie, rotte, strette, mal chiuse o mancano elementi di base come carta igienica, asciugamani, coperte, porte della doccia private e sicurezza affidabile della stanza. Il servizio è molto irregolare. Nel migliore dei casi, il personale può essere cordiale, pratico e veramente utile, includendo un forte sostegno in situazioni stressanti. Nel peggiore dei casi, la reception può essere assente o irraggiungibile, il check-in tardivo può fallire e le interazioni possono essere scortesi o disorganizzate.
Segnali da controllare
- L'ambiente circostante può sembrare pericoloso o stressante, soprattutto di notte e soprattutto per le viaggiatrici da sole.
- L'arrivo in ritardo è rischioso perché la reception e il check-in non funzionano in modo affidabile.
- I problemi di pulizia e di parassiti sono abbastanza gravi da trattare questo come un ultimo rimedio per dormire, non come una scelta di comfort.
- L'atmosfera può includere residenti di lunga data, residenti anziani, rumore, fumo e comportamenti che possono essere scomodi.
- Portate un lucchetto, un asciugamano e le cose di base di riserva; gli armadietti e la sicurezza della stanza potrebbero non essere all'altezza delle aspettative.
