Update: I knew ahead of the noise level, but not an issue for me. They provide ear plugs, and the roommates are courteous. The noise level is due to the natural acoustics, and something that can't be fixed, without a major architectural overhaul. I am not sure if it was bed bugs, or just an allergic reaction. I am about 99% sure it wasn't mosquitoes. But the staff today after reading my feedback, they went out of their ways to swap out the bed and linen with a new mattress and beddings. Super nice and accommodating. They offered different room, but I'm happy with the room and the location. The itching that accompanied in the mornings stopped, after the bedding and bed swap. Not sure, but the hostel responded quickly and super happy. At the end of the day, the staff makes an experience good or bad. This one has been great thus far. A/C in the rooms are really not needed, but each room can be changed to the preference of the resident. It can get really cold, if desired. But avg. temp at night is near 70's or slightly lower.

Pariwana Hostel Lima è la versione Miraflores del party hostel: centrale, sociale, rumoroso e costruito intorno alla macchina rooftop/bar/eventi. Sta proprio vicino al Parque Kennedy, con ristoranti e negozi a portata di mano, quindi funziona bene come prima base a Lima se vuoi avere subito gente intorno. La parte buona è semplice: tante attività, un rooftop dove stare in giro, energia da walking tour, lezioni e tour, karaoke o serate partita, e abbastanza spinta da festa per far entrare rapidamente chi viaggia da solo in un gruppo. I team di reception, bar ed eventi possono essere calorosi e presenti, e il hostel ha avuto soggiorni molto recenti puliti e amichevoli accanto ad altri decisamente più ruvidi. Lo scambio non è sottile. Questo è un hostel in cui scegli la festa, non un "forse dormo presto prima del tour delle 5". Musica dal rooftop/bar, rumore della strada, arrivi tardi e camere poco isolate fanno parte del pacchetto; i tappi per le orecchie ci sono, ma potrebbero non bastare. Alcuni dorm sono stretti, caldi o con odore di umidità, e molti letti non hanno tende, quindi la privacy può essere più teoria che pratica. Sceglilo per una base breve, sociale e party-first a Miraflores. Saltalo per call di lavoro tranquille, sonno leggero, molta privacy o un soggiorno molto rifinito e centrato sulle strutture. Il divertimento è reale; anche il compromesso.

- Bagni, docce e strutture datate possono essere sporchi, allagati, piccoli o usurati.
- I dorm possono essere stretti, caldi, umidi e con poca privacy; molti letti non hanno tende.
- La scena serale del bar o delle feste può includere uomini esterni o locali che fanno sentire insicure alcune donne; le viaggiatrici sole potrebbero voler scegliere con attenzione la scena party.
- Extra a pagamento, deposito bagagli e aiuto da reception o tour desk possono essere incostanti; conferma costi e dettagli prima di contarci.
