Rio Hostel sits right in the center of Seville, close to the cathedral and the Alcazar, with a top-floor terrace and an easy walk to shops, bars, and transit. The location is the cleanest advantage here, and the place keeps things simple. The building feels old and basic. Some rooms are small or cramped, the beds can wobble or feel worn, and there is no elevator. Street noise, bar noise, and late-night traffic can carry into the rooms, so sleep is not the strong suit. Cleanliness and upkeep vary room by room. Worn linens, small bathrooms, weak drainage, and mixed shower quality are part of the picture, and night reception may be empty. Bring patience, a padlock, and low expectations for comfort.
