Rio Hostel

Horrible! Había CHINCHES en la habitación. Nos hicieron cancelar la reserva porque tenían que cerrar la habitación para fumigar y no les quedaban camas, pero 5 horas después YA HABÍA GENTE dentro!! En menos de 5 horas esos bichos no mueren ni de coña.

Experiencia terrible! Chinches en la habitación, picaduras y nadie en recepción para ayudar. No atendieron el teléfono y la limpieza fue superficial y volvieron a poner en funcionamiento el cuarto para otras personas. La atención al cliente fue deficiente y sin empatía. No lo recomiendo. I found bedbugs in the bed during my stay. When I told the manager, they were rude and unhelpful. I didn’t feel listened to or respected. The place needs proper cleaning and better customer service. I don’t recommend staying here!!!

Reservé una habitación doble con baño privado. No era un baño como tal, era un cubículo dentro de la habitación con vater y puerta pero si cerrabas desde dentro no podías cerrarla porque las rodillas chocaban con la puerta, el lavabo estaba fuera al lado de la cama sin tapón, se oían los bajantes y salía olor de cañería, la ducha en otro cubículo aparte con muy mala higiene en las juntas. Lo que no nos esperábamos era encontrar CHINCHES de cama entre las sábanas y muchísimas mosquitas o mosquitos también en la habitación. Es un hostal con buena ubicación pero es muy poco higiénico y sanidad debería llevar un control para garantizar que se encargan de exterminar las plagas. La cocina comunitaria un auténtico terror. Se encargan ellos mismos de lavar la sábanas y toallas por lo que encuentras pelos y manchas en ellas. Solo pagué una noche y no pudimos dormir porque nos picaba todo el cuerpo. EXIJO REEMBOLSO INMEDIATO Y HE PUESTO ESTO EN MANOS DE BOOKING.

Punaises de lit, nous avons du passé la nuit sur la terrasse.

Beaucoup de bruit, fermeture des portes des dortoirs hyper bruyante et surtout punaises de lit, j'ai été piquée au moins 20 fois. Je devais revenir à l'établissement 2 jours après mais j'ai cherché autre chose de peur de me refaire piquer.

Había chinches

La limpieza deja mucho que desear, había chinches !! Los cuartos con cables salidos y los enchufes sin funcionar. Baños sin ventilación, los cuales se limpian una vez al día y luego es desagradable entrar.

Había chinches en las camas, son perfectamente conscientes de ello y no se les ocurre mencionarlo o tomar medidas como cerrar la habitación donde saben que están (aunque yo estuve tanto en la black panther como en la street art y aunque solo vi la chinche en la segunda también tenía picaduras de la primera por lo que probablemente el problema se les haya extendido). Puse hoja de reclamación y la llevé a sanidad y espero que se tomen las medidas adecuadas ya que es un problema de salud pública y puede suponer un perjuicio grave para gente que pueda tener alergias. Tampoco te dan apenas información sobre el alojamiento cuando llegas, tuve que buscar la azotea porque había visto que había una, y los horarios de la cocina se modificaron sin aviso, descuadrandome los planes que tenía para el día ya que no podía acceder a la hora que en teoría estaba abierta. Hay otros detalles que pueden mejorar pero teniendo en cuenta el precio se asume que no va a ser un alojamiento perfecto, como la regulación de la temperatura del agua en las duchas o que haya mucho ruido del exterior, pero lo de las chinches me parece muy grave.

las camas rechinas nada mas moverse. no hay agua caliente se escucha todo el ruido de fuera hay chinches en las habitaciones el personal de la mañana es antipatico

The location was great, all of the staff was so nice&friendly , amazing rooftop,we didn't use the kitchen as it was always full with other guestes, the bedroom itself was ok but its missing things like wardrobe.. where you can place your belongings , the room was not as clean as it need to be one hostel, the towels didn't seem clean,the walls were full with mold, no bedbugs as I read in the previous reviews. However this place needs some improvemant -cleaning wise!

O check in levou muito tempo nao existia ninguém na recepção e tive que andar a procura. A cozinha no final do dia estava completamente suja, com loiça suja nas mesas ... a cama tinha o lençol sujo e acabei por apanhar percevejos ( bichos que estao no colchão por nao terem uma boa limpeza), ja para nao falar que tinha dois lençóis e uma capa de edredão sem edredão e sem manta. O colchão é super desconfortável...no segundo dia e terceiro dia , nao existia agua quente para banhos, tivemos de tomar de agua fria... quartos com muito barulho da rua ... de tanto hostel que fui , este foi horrível

Terrible hostel, it doesn't help that it's in the city center. There are bugs in the bed, the bedding is old and worn. Everything in the shower room is old and has a strange smell, it seems that this place is used to make as much money as possible, but they do not invest a single cent in repairs. I do not recommend it, and bed bugs are simply disgusting.

Il problema principale sono state le cimici da letto dentro il letto. Siamo andati via poche ore dopo aver effettuato un check in per 4 notti e abbiamo dovuto prenotare un altro hotel in extremis girando per il centro, La camera non raprpesentava le foto in descrizione ed era davvero molto sporca e piccola. La doccia e il water erano di neanche un metro quadro, separate una dall'altra e molto male odoranti. Il lavello era a un metro dal letto e lo specchio era pieno di sporco e calcare. Molta polvere sui comodini e sul davanzale della finestra.

The place is completely infested with bed bugs, avoid this place at all cost if you don't want to ruin your trip and spend a lot of money in washing your clothes and backpacks, plus medice expenses... There was a french guy in the room who was mesturvating not bothered if there was more people in the room, so I told front desk staff, they moved me in to a room that was empty, what they didn't tell me was that the room was empty because was infested with bedbugs, at 3 am in the morning my hands had several bites, I told the staff that are mostly volunteers, they move me to.other bed in the same room, I had more bedbug bites and I realized the where all over the place, pillow, bed, walls, everywhere!!! I went to reception again and they told me the only place available was the room with the French crazy guy, I didn't have other options so I went there. My clothes and bag had bedbugs already so I had more bites in my face, armas and back, I didn't sleep at all, next day I went to Morocco. Between medicine and cream and laundry I spent almost 70 euros. Avoid this horrible place, I hope it closes down for the good of travelers, they will not give me any of my money back, they should be responsible for all the pain I'm having now, they new that room was completely infested with bedbugs and put me there, they could tell me that there was no more room so I booked another hostel nearby. Ridiculous, complete negligence and lack of commonsense. I uploaded a picture of the French crazy guy and some of dozens of bedbugs that where around me. The room was infested with bedbugs because of a.big group of french guys who stay there, that's according to the volunteers wich some of them were covered with bedbugs bites too, but they where in other room.

On our first night, I was bitten significantly by bed bugs and mosquitos. When we told the staff and showed them photos (40-50 mosquitos on the roof and on bedding), they did kindly move us to another room for the night. However, we were again bitten by bedbugs on our final night. The bites on my arm, shoulders and legs lasted for over a week. I got in contact with Booking.com who tried to resolve a form of compensation from the hostel, however, it was unsuccessful.

There was a bedbug issue and the guy at the reception did not offer a new, clean bed after I went to talk to him. It was so severe I had to go to visit a doctor. Therefore, I decided to leave earlier to sleep in another place.

I saw a bed bug one time and that for me is very alarming. After I left the hostel, I had to suffer for a few days of the bites which I think I got from the hostel.

Mucho ruido, muy sucio, no había aire acondicionado (¡¡¡En Sevilla!!!) y lo peor: cogí chinches

A creative little place with an incredible view from the terrace, however from the hours of 9am to 6pm it was scorching hot (would advise waiting until the sun goes down). My tiny mate was frothing on the art and especially the stairs leading up to our room. The place was mostly clean and my little mate only had to kill one bug in his bed which I can’t confirm if it was bedbug as he is a sook. Be careful not to get caught snoozing in someone else’s bed or you’ll get stung with a 50euro fine or the cleaning
