Delight Hostel

The room was cleaned on the surface and the bedsheets were clean and there was really good fan which was good since it was 33°C. I also looked for bedbugs and they were nonexistent!! Bathrooms were really dirty and both of them were moldy everywhere. The staff could be nicer. In the room behind the beds was dirty and we saw some bugs on the floor in the room.

I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. Overall, the stay was okay, but unfortunately, there were bedbugs in the bed and I got bitten. I hope the hotel can check this issue and improve the room cleanliness for future guests.

Nada me gustó, bueno, solo la ubicación Primero que todo, no me gustó la atención de la persona en recepción. Hablaba entre los dientes y no se le entendía absolutamente nada. Segundo, al llegar a la habitación nos entregaron un ventilador diminuto para dos personas, una cama individual (porque eso no era una cama doble) y solo dos toallas. Tercero, la cama estaba llena de chinches y todas las noches me picaron. Cuarto, el baño fue otro desastre: la ventana era completamente transparente, sin cortina, así que nada de privacidad. Además, cuando quisimos comprar una botella de agua, no había nadie en recepción. Entiendo que no puedan estar todo el tiempo ahí, pero al menos deberían tener un timbre o una forma de contacto visible. Tampoco había privacidad en general: escuchamos a otras personas teniendo relaciones sexuales, algo muy incómodo. Jamás nos hicieron aseo en la habitación. Y lo peor: el primer día, la persona del aseo entró sin tocar la puerta. Cero privacidad. Me pareció una total falta de respeto.

I wish that Booking.com would let you use half points when grading, because I feel the hotel would deserve a 7.5. I booked a single room with private bathroom, and got upgraded to the double room since there were not many guests, I really appreciated it. I must confess that at first I was put off by some of the reviews about bed bugs and unsanitary rooms, but I was relieved to see that the room was clean, with freshly laundered linen and towels, and no sign of bed bugs (I have quite sensitive and reactive skin, and didn't get a single mark!). The room was quite spacious for a single person, and I think it would not feel too crammed also when travelling in two. There was a hanger provided, but no closets (no big deal, though: I always pack light). The bathroom was quite clean, too (just a single hair near the sink). It had no window but an extractor fan. Soap and shower gel were provided. Overall, I had a pleasant 3-night stay, and I found the hotel to be good value for money (considering accommodation prices in Lisbon). The hotel is located within walking distance from the Parque metro station (from there, it's a 15/20-minute ride to the centre, 45 minutes on foot). It has supermarkets and coffee shops around. I found the neighborhood quite safe to walk around also at midnight, as a female solo traveler. At times, sewer smell would come out of the toilet, and the flush tank would leak a little, but it was just a minor inconvenience. Not great sound insulation, so noisy neighbours in the corridor can be a nuisance, but other people's lack of politeness is not something the hotel can be held "responsible" for.

Beware of this hotel, there are a lot of bed bugs, and room are smelling the price is expensive 75euro per day bathroom is not good to much smelling 😤🤮

There was no breakfast as advertised. The location is great. My bed had beg bugs so I woke up with a lot of bug bites all over my arms, neck, and back.

The location is good and it appears to be clean but has a bedbug infestation. In just two nights I had approximately 40 bites all over my body, I had to buy medicine because the itching was unbearable. I complained to booking and they had no response from the accommodation, I complained to the manager and asked for my money back. He refused to give it because I made a complaint in the complaints book. I don't recommend it.

I requested bottom bed, but they didn't realise or ignore. When I arrived and told it, they gave me better grade room, bcs no bottom bed remained. Hot shower Security Towel included Now no bedbugs Far from centre, but quiet at night Kitchen tool are poor, and smell No common room

Nada El hostel tenía chinches y me picaron por todo el cuerpo.

Location is nice, close to “Picoas” station. The private room is very clean and not so small as I expected. No bed bugs 👏 Nice bathroom but tiny shower area. Big window on my room! 🪟 Reception closes at 01:00 am. Staff do not speak Portuguese. No soap to wash your hands on the bathroom, no amenities, stained towels, no hot water in the shower. Bed is not the most comfy and slightly tilted. During the night some flies entered the room and kept buzzing in my ears, which woke me up, but I turned on the fan (which is a good one btw) and problem was solved. On the morning of my checkout, there was a sign that says that the elevator was out of service, which was not true (I had to carry my luggage from the 3rd floor for nothing).

Las dos primeras noches encontramos bedbugs en una de las camas que me dejó más de 15 picaduras, le dijimos al personal y al parecer sabían ya que no se sorprendió, nos pasaron otra habitación la que no tenía ninguna aislación térmica y sonora estábamos al lado del la sala de máquinas del.ascensor que sonaba toda la noche. En general no lo recomiendo.

Beds aren't comfy neither are the pillows, Windows near the road so it's a lot of noise coming in,really thin walls you can hear everything from other peoples rooms, the room I'm staying at 303 way too hot and thanks for the bites from the bed bugs, Price is over 800 there is only 3 beds that's it no tv like most of the rooms the same price and no private bathroo. Such bad Wi-fi you can't go on the Internet properly. I would ask you to stay away and don't make the same mistakes

Check in went fine, even though we came very late. Stayed there for one night and woke up with a lot of bite marks. Thanks for the bedbugs in room 305, but we didn't need any pets.
