As a group of 7 people we stayed Sunday until Saturday in CHE. Overall the location was good but from Tuesday on we noticed little dots on our feet and legs. It got worse over the days and reaching Friday my feet, legs and back were covered in extremely red bruises as well as rashes from bed bugs. 4 of us had bed bug bites all over their body which we sadly noticed too late. The manager was friendly but only changed the sheets and mattresses and refunded only one night. The bites were itching really bad so

Social hostel, but if you want privacy and chill times thats also very much possible :) Was dealing with bedbugs (took from another hostel) and they were very helpful about it. Gave me a new towel plus sheets and cleaned the room. Gracias Che PE!!

CHE Puerto Escondido Hostel & Bar è una base party a La Punta con piscina, rooftop, bar, cucina condivisa e area cowork. La posizione è comoda per spiaggia, strada principale, taxi, colectivos, ristoranti e uscite serali, quindi funziona meglio quando il piano è stare fuori, socializzare e collegarsi al lato più rumoroso di Puerto Escondido. La piscina è l’hangout principale di giorno, e il rooftop dà un posto più calmo per sedersi sopra il rumore del bar. Dorm e private possono essere moderni, spaziosi e comodi, con ventilatori o A/C almeno in alcune camere, anche se il raffrescamento può essere limitato a certe ore. Non è una scelta quieta, rifinita e value. La musica può restare alta per tutto il giorno e fino a tarda sera, la scena sociale può sembrare divertente o forzata a seconda della folla, e il servizio è discontinuo. Si adatta meglio a uno stop breve e party-first che a remote work, notti presto o un reset calmo da spiaggia.

- La musica può essere alta per gran parte della giornata e continuare fino a circa le 23:00.
- Il Wi-Fi può essere debole, anche in camera e nell’area cowork.
- La pulizia è discontinua, con problemi ricorrenti intorno a bagni, cucina, piscina, odori e parassiti.
- L’A/C può essere limitata a orari fissi, e alcune camere possono diventare calde.
- Servizio, modifiche di prenotazione, disponibilità asciugamani, fee carta ed extra charge possono essere frustranti.
