Social hostel, but if you want privacy and chill times thats also very much possible :) Was dealing with bedbugs (took from another hostel) and they were very helpful about it. Gave me a new towel plus sheets and cleaned the room. Gracias Che PE!!

CHE Puerto Escondido Hostel & Bar is a La Punta party base with a pool, rooftop, bar, shared kitchen, and cowork area. The location is handy for the beach, the main road, taxis, colectivos, restaurants, and nights out, so it works best when the plan is to be out, socialize, and plug into Puerto Escondido's louder side. The pool is the main daytime hangout, and the rooftop gives a calmer place to sit above the bar noise. Dorms and private rooms can be modern, spacious, and comfortable, with fans or A/C in at least some rooms, though cooling may be limited to certain hours. This is not a quiet, polished value pick. Music can run loud through the day and into late evening, the social scene can feel either fun or forced depending on the crowd, and service is inconsistent. It suits a short, party-first stop better than remote work, early nights, or a calm beach reset.
